Carter, Jeantry / Nolen at 12 and trade back into the 1st if either drop significantly. Would be a nice turn around for a team needing to win now.

If Parsons is traded who is rushing the passer? Sam Williams coming off an ACL or Marshawn Kneeland?

I like the idea of two 1st round picks and maybe a 2 for Parsons, along with added cap space, but at least one of those picks or a lot of that space needs to be allocated to get his replacement.

So....why not just keep Parsons? Trading Micah is a blow it all up, rebuild move. And I don't think the Cowboys are in that mode after shelling out the Dak and Lamb deals.

It would be negligent to not consider the idea. Everyone would trade him for 5 first rounders. That's not realistic, but it demonstrates the point that this is a debate about trade value. The notion that "you can't trade your best defender" is nonsense.

Of course, Dak's contract really makes this a moot point. It's too late now.

Sadly, trading Parsons was the only realistic path to acquiring a legitimate QB. Might as well keep Parsons now that Dallas is stuck with Dak.

For those of u who are intrigued by this. Jerry and Co. have shown they are not very good at trade transactions. I hate this idea due to this fact. It would be better for the team to sign up to an extension. Trading Micah for some WR the team other doesn’t want and a 2nd round pick will not put this team over the top.

The last thing Jerry and Stephen want is to have to pay to keep TWO former first round picks when their fifth year option ends in 2030. It's enough to give Cap Boy night terrors for the rest of the decade.

I don't think Parsons adds any "cancer". I think some fans' perception of Parsons adds a cancer to this forum. I've never heard anyone outside of here say anything negative about him.
