The remark about T.O. was to illustrate how stupid it is to try and argue that PC isn't as productive as many of the other #2 based on one horrible game. T.O. has had horrible games as well, does that mean he's not a great #1?

where did T.O.s drops cost him or us a playoff game ? In san fran dropped a ton but made up for it when it counted..

Great, you'd take a bunch of the other two's out there. And, with the exception of 4 or 5 of them you'd get pretty much exactly what you got out of Crayton. So, bravo, you made a lateral move.

NO I disagree I would take RW ( playoffs and SB winner ) Your counting this year as a number 1 wich he is clearly not he is a number 2

but you seem to call PC a number 2 when clearly at best he is a number 3 but TG got hurt and he was placed at number 2 ...

Without a doubt he was a big factor, to me the biggest. He had the oppurtunity to twice make game changing plays (the second would have been a game winning TD).

Still it's a bad game for a guy who I'd like to have a #3, I really would, but played more than adequately as a 2. If he moves to 3 cause we get something better, more power to us.

However I dont think the guy is the worst #2 ever after one bad game. He's improved every year he's been with us and I appreciate that fact.

And he might have been the 3rd option, cause of Witten, but that doesn't change the fact that he's the #2 WR. Which is the only thing I compared him to were all the other teams #2 WRs.

You're thoughts on the matter really, no longer, hold water to me. I've proven, pretty easily, that he was just as productive as practically every single #2 WR out there, and more productive than some teams #1 guy, and yet you're just still so blinded by the hatred of a bad game that you'll just continue to run your mouth endlessly.

if you call this years stats proof ...Ok thats why everyone wants another WR your in the minority...we are going no where with PC as a number 2 on this team.and he still sucks

it wasent only him. Its just his big mouth everygame, predictions and he hasnt backed up or won anything, So im not a fan of big mouths who dont back up there talk.amongst other things I still dony consider him a solid number 2 Wr for us

I'd take Wayne at 2 every year as well. But you can call him the #2 all you want, this year, and you'd be a foolish idiot. He was the #1 option on the team, all year long, cause Marvin played, what, 5 games? he doesnt go as a 2 this year cause he was their 1.

Of course everyone would trade Crayton straight up for Chad. A person would have to be a fool not to. But then you're trading crayton, who was our 2 cause of injury and who you believe should never, ever, be more than a 3 (I wont necassarily say I dont agree that he shouldnt but injuries dictate things) for a guy whose actually a #1 as well. Cincy has the good fortune of having 2 #1 WRs.

But, again, you're trying to trade him for Johnson and Wayne. ANyone, and eveyrone, would do that. They are two of the maybe 5 actualy number 2 WR who out produced him this year. Period. 5 out of 31. He's at the very least as good, or better, than the vast majority of the league outside of a few superstar WRs.

And, no, they're not all over the hill. Bruce and Toomer, maybe, but the rest are not over the hill and he still produced in their range or better.

Are you talking about PC? I don't count the second one as a bad play because it was a broken play and I won't totally blame him or hold him totally responsible.

Appreciate ? he is paid very well, to do that and make the play, I know its not automatic but for a player to open up his mouth and bring heat on our team and not to produce when it counts, Is not appreciated by me. Predicting we are going to be the highest scoring offense . What is that shut up and play...

I will agree he should shut up and pay more attention in the playoffs. No arguments there.

Roy isn't going anywhere, I belive for the most part people have accepted this, even though there are some crazy people who just won't listen.

I don't know how Ellis is bad for the team though. He just had a 12 sack year, a career high. He's a little *****y, and worrysome sometimes, but he's a very nice compliment to Ware and not overly expensive either.[/quote]

When I mean suck I mean not as goods as... So if you think he is as good as the rest of the league that's great and its your opinion and till he proves me wrong not that he should care he still is making money and is on the Dallas Cowboys as ( whatever you would like to call him a 2 a 3 ) Time will tell this off-season where Jerry and the rest of the coaching staff stick him at 2 or 3 we will see, I still think he sucks and I'm entitled to that opinion just as you yours,

the fact of the matter is crayton is a good #3 who was pressed into #2 duties. if he caught that 1 ball you'd likely be mr happy right now. he misses it and you forget the many clutch catches he's made over the years.

i didn't compare him to much of anyone. in the end he's crayton and that's all he'll ever be.

The Cowboys have big problems at receiver and cornerback that could be addressed with two #1 picks.

It is what it is. Since the guy isn't Chad Johnson, Reggie Wayne, or Boldin that means he's a lousy two.

Again, I'll say it as i've said all along, he's a great number three and a good #2. I'd rather have him as a 3 but when he had to step in as a 2 this year he stepped in and produced very well. He produced as well, or better, than almost every single other teams number two. With the exceptions being Santonio Holmes in Pittsburgh, Boldin in Arizona, Johnson in Cincy (And, yes, Chad is still a #1 but it is what it is there), Reggie Wayne (who is usually a two but I don't really care what anyone wants to think about it this year he proved, by far, that he's easily a #1 with the numbers he put up without Harrison) in Indy, and Roy Williams of Detroit (whose actually the #1 guy and would have lead the team, I have no doubt, had he not been injured for the final 4 games).

So Crayton isn't one of those guys, it's a shame he's not, but my God. To think where we would have been in the regular season without him stepping in and doing so well is something I don't even care to think about.

You know how about we talk about Romo and how his accuracy went into the toilet in the final portion of the season including the Giants loss?

The drop sucked but Romo threw over half a dozen bad balls that game yet no one wants tot alk about that. Garrett abandoned a highly successful running game. Our oline turned into a sieve.

But hey lets blame the guy who dropped just as many balls as TO did that game.

Scapegoats are bad news to begin with but even worse when someone else is more to blame.
