I am confused, the Garrett supporters have told me repeatedly that the "process" of building a team "the right way" takes years and years and years before you can play in an NFC Championship Game.

Pederson in his second year on the job is hosting the dam thing................how can this be:huh:
He has WRs that catch the ball when it it their hands or chest...

Wade inherited the talent that is used as an excuse for Garrett and got much better results. And he had the clown as OC, forced from on high..

The Eagles were running the same defensive scheme, with a wide 9 and were terrible. The difference is they hit a guy that could actually coach it as DC...

THey went from 16 to 3 as a scoring defense.

Yeah, I thought the post was serious. Others felt it was sarcasm. Trolling would be a good description.

WE HAVE CHIP KELLY!!, but his name is Garrett!!

The difference is, Chip is not Jerry’s ‘step son’. Garrett’s father is a right hand man of Jerry and been alongside Lacewell for over two decades enforcing Jerry’s bad decisions and probably ego and Jason’s brother is director of pro scouting. We even had another Garrett brother here during the Ogletree era but he sucked so bad even Jerry couldn’t retain him but gave him a graceful exit.

A falcons db kneeing an easy interception back to the eagles had about as much to do with it as well.

Yep, sometimes it is BETTER TO BE LUCKY THAN GOOD! 4 fumbles, a horrible performance by Foles in the first half. The knee reception. A Julio slip. Just think, Julio catches that ball and it's the Falcons D we're talking about, the Falcons great passer and WR and the Gals are one and done. Like Linehan of the Boys, Sarkisian will take the wrap for less than stellar offensive season.

Because the process is BS.

Coaching and QB play can turn a team around overnight.

Most new head coaches start off with a shaky to bad QB situation. Garrett started off with a franchise QB and still couldn’t win consistently. He had a lot of the pieces necessary to be successful If he was a quality HC. We’re seven years into his coaching tenure and we’re still not consistent.

Um, Garrett inherited the most prolific passer in franchise history and a generational pass rushing talent.
He also had a young Sean Lee and Witten, and Dez when he was productive with nothing to show for it but one lousy playoff win. He wasted the prime of some damn good players. You give any HC that knows what he is doing those players and I bet you they have at a championship game appearance

In the last calendar year alone, the Eagles brain trust added young studs at WR(Jeffrey), RB(Ajayi), DL(Jernigan) and CB(Darby). Just think how much of a boost that type of quality would add to the Cowboys roster if our GM took the free agency/trade market seriously. But no, were content to add guys who either can't play or nearing retirement.
But, the best teams build their teams through the draft said Stephen!
