Per Schefter, Zeke deal to be done within 24 hours **merged**

Quick question, if Elliott signs an extension for 6 years, beyond his remaining two, can the signing bonus be spread out over the 8 full years of the contract or is it only prorated over the 6 years extension?

Just a guess, but I think since it's an extension of the existing contract, it can be spread out over its entire length.

It sounds like it will be: 6 year 90 million with 40 million guaranteed

It's as if you think opinions here matter on such things.

Jerry loves Dak. Jerry is sold on Dak. Jerry is going to pay Dak. It doesn't matter whether we agree with Jerry or not.

Are you a personal friend of Jerry's?
If not after all these years haven't you learned that he's a great Car salesman with tales galore???
Money talks bud and so far their is none for Dak prior to kick-off....

No. 5 years max

IIRC, you can't prorate signing bonus for more than five years.

Where they can get around this is by having roster bonuses come up on certain years of the deal.

La'el gets his money, Zeke gets his money and I'd like to imagine Prescott's cable is being shut off for lack of payment.

Today is a good day.
lmao...I am actually very impressed with how Dallas has managed signing folks. I think most of us thought it was a forgone conclusion that Collins was out the door. Now looks like Zeke is locked up for 6 years. Dak and Amari will be next. Wouldn't be shocked if we manage to keep Byron too.
