If the jury gives him serious time, it won't be work release, it will be in prison. If they don't give him serious time, he'll be on probation, so that won't be work release either.

As an aside, I just can't fathom the fascination with holding out hope that this guy can help the Cowboys. Why would anyone want this knucklehead within 10 miles of team headquarters?

I didn't say anything about this guy playing for the Cowboys. But he's a drain on society in prison. If he can work and serve time i.e. work release then he can remain a productive human being. I don't personally care if he plays for the anyone but I do care if he can remain a productive citizen while his ability to harm the public is minimal. He should also if possible do community service and he'd be a good example for what young adults shouldn't do. I hope it turns it around for himself and society.

Can't say I feel bad for Brent. He deserves it for his repeated actions of being irresponsible. So the question now is will he get cut now? If my memory serves me correctly he was still on the team right?
