There is no way you can spin 1-4 the whole first half or so and constant 3 and outs. That means they don't trust the offense.

Wilson's yardage was gained on chucking the ball up and the last drive was the only time they went spread and had to toss it. Even with the adjustment in the running game with the Cowboys, what they do with Wilsom isn't even remotely compared to Romo. Romo is constantly audibling at the line and it's actually a myth he has less role. He actually has more of a role.

Seattle doesn't have big time receiving threats their leading receiver was Doug Baldwin who had only 66 catches for 825 yards. How do you think Romo would do with their receiving corp? Even with Wilson's average receiving corp he only threw for about 250 yards less than Romo who had Dez Bryant and Jason Witten. What Seattle does with Wilson and Dallas does with Romo are different because Romo's been a starting NFL QB for 9 years compared to 3 seasons for Wilson. Romo has more of a role because he's a much more experienced QB than Wilson. It took Romo 4 years before he ever took a snap as a starting NFL QB. Wilson started as a rookie and is still developing. The Seahawks wouldn't have reached back to back SB's if there was an issue with Wilson. Another thing you have to take into account with Wilson's production is the damage he does with his legs. He put up 849 yards and 6 TD's running the football in 2014. He produced 4324 yards of offense with 26 TD's passing and running which was more combined yardage than Romo in 2014.

Please just stop. This is the same guy that threw 4 INTs against Green Bay and that defense still held Rodgers to under 200 yards. This is a guy, who when the opposing team scores 24 points or more, Wilson is 1-8. I can't even count how many under 200 yard games Wilson has thrown in his career. That offense insults the defense.

Romo came in and immediately play in a pro-style offense.

Romo didn't immediately come in and do anything it took him over 3 years of learning from the sidelines before he ever got his first start. Wilson threw 4 int's vs Green Bay but when the game was on the line he led Seattle on one of the greatest comebacks ever in postseason history. Two of Wilson's 4 int's were on his receiver who couldn't catch the ball. You can dog Wilson all you want but no QB in NFL history has had a better first 3 seasons than he has. It's hard to come back from deficits when you don't have big time playmakers at the WR position even their TE is average. In the SB one of Wilson's best throws down the field was to his RB Lynch on a 31 yard pass play. Wilson does what's asked of him and if Seattle didn't trust him like you've been spinning they would have never attempted to throw the ball from the 1 yard line on a 2nd down play with the SB on the line.

One other point Seattle lost their best receiver Golden Tate who led the Seahawks in receiving in 2013. He put up 99 catches for just over 1300 yards with the Lions. Had they kept Tate Wilson would have been more productive Tate was a good compliment for what Wilson does well and that's go deep.

Does anyone honestly believe with Seattle's receiving corp that Romo would have been more productive with the Seahawks than Wilson this past season? Of Romo's 34 TD's 16 of them came with Dez. Romo wouldn't have gotten their offense over 800 rushing yards with 6 rushing TD's his production would have had to come entirely through the air.

Don't know Romo had Robinson and did wonders for his career and 2nd year WR Williams has done well as did Miles Austin before Dez got here. I do think as a passer Romo is better than Wilson. As a runner hands down Wilson is better.

Until this season Romo had been in a pass happy offense. He's a better passer than Wilson but the Cowboys have had to reel Romo in due to the turnovers that occur from him having to do too much in the passing game. Dez was here during the one season Robinson was here which opened up opportunities for Robinson. Miles turned into a very good big play receiver at least for one season in 09 and Dez arrived the next year. Witten has always been with Romo and he's been a reliable and productive security blanket for him his entire career. Romo wouldn't have Witten in Seattle and we can only speculate how well he would produce without a dependable TE of that caliber. Romo had TO for 3 seasons so he's had much better receiving corps than Wilson.

I don't know what Seattle TE or WR can do part of it is the QB being accurate with his throws. I think Wilson outside of the pocket putting pressure on the DB to either remain in coverage or come to prevent him from running has been a big factor in his success. However when he is contained and not allowed to get outside his passes are not that great, I will not blame TE or WR on that.

looking at the numbers Wilson and Kaepernick are pretty comparable not overly great passer but they put pressure on defense because once they get outside you are faced with coming up to stop them from running leaving WR open or you stay back in coverage and they take off and are very good runners. Romo is not looking to run, he will move around looking down field to find his target and runs as a very last resort. Passing wise Romo is head and shoulders above both of them

He's short so that's part of the reason he's not that great within the pocket but he's been a pretty accurate passer overall he has a 63% career completion percentage. He was standing tall in the pocket on his winning TD throw to Kearse in OT vs Green Bay. That was as accurate a deep throw as you'll ever see. Kap has a career 60% completion percentage and he has much better receivers than Wilson. You can't tell me Davis, Crabtree and Boldin aren't better than what Wilson has. Romo is a more productive passer than Wilson but when he passes a lot he turns the ball over a lot. In 3 full seasons as a starting QB (52 starts) Wilson only has 26 int's compared to 46 int's in Romo's first 39 starts. You won't find a young developing QB who's turned the ball over less than Wilson.

I'm not talking 1 drive vs any given team and much of his passing takes place outside of the pocket his height it is what it is. As for Romo yes when he has had to pass as much as he has and has to carry the team yes he will run into ints then again Wilson is not asked to carry his team he has never had to throw over 500 times in a season or 600 times as Romo did in 2012. When you put the ball up that much you will get some passes picked off, some of it on the QB some of it on WR

If Seattle even had a real offense, they wouldn't have even needed to come back. And seriously, the GB defense went stupid and played man coverage. He had single coverage both times. That is how much them boys respect Wilson.

It's insulting to compare Romo to Wilson... Romo has made this team respectable with such a garbage defense compared to Seattle and a scrub OC, they finally replaced.

Seattle ranked #1 rushing and Wilson put up over 800 rushing yards but they have an average receiving corp and it hasn't stopped them from reaching the SB the past 2 seasons. You're claiming Seattle doesn't have a real offense when their offense ranked 9th overall only 2 spots behind the Cowboys offense. It's FANS here that want to make the comparison between Wilson and Romo because most are jealous of what Wilson has accomplished in such a short time and they're bent on tearing his game down. This is just one of the many Romo vs name the QB who's won a SB we see every year. I can assure you if Romo had accomplished what Wilson has accomplished the past 2 seasons no one here would be complaining or trying to tear down his game. What made the Cowboys respectable this season was the running game that helped keep the defense off the field and helped keep Romo's mistakes down.

Are you serious? This is the NFL and I don't care how good your offense is or who you have at QB you're going to have to play comeback in some games. Denver had the greatest offense the NFL had ever seen in 2013 with one of the greatest QB's in history and got beat by 35 points in the SB by a team you claim doesn't have a real offense. Seattle has a very efficient, well balanced offense that ranked in the top 10 in 2014. Their offense moved up 8 spots from 2013 without Tate and Harvin.

Not jealous of Wilson in the least he is very good at what he does, his athletic ability allows him to put pressure on the defense but when he has been held in the pocket and forced to work out of it he has struggled. I'm not talking 1 game but many games where when he is forced to remain in the pocket he has not faired well. Romo does not have the same athletic ability but in terms of working from the pocket or using his mobility within the pocket Romo is a better QB. Going to the SB has as much to do with an outstanding defense than anything else. Seattle does not put Wilson in many situations where the is asked to throw nearly as much as Romo has been asked over the years.

This entire thread is embarrassing, just more whining and crying about Romo, why not get excited about where this team is going rather than worry about how the outside world perceives one guy on a football team.

1-8 when the opposing team scores at least 24. Russell cannot make it happen when the team he is playing against engages in a shoot-out. Wilson had more 100 yard passing games than probably three hundred. I think he had at least six. They could score under twenty and consistently win.

The Commanders in their read option the first year had Morris close to two thousand and RG3 probably around at least 1000. It doesn't mean they were great because of yardage.

I don't even know what the statistics are for Seattle defense in creating TOs for Wilson and starting defense.

Wilson can't sniff Romo's jock.

With a QB with a last name like Romo on a Cowboy uniform. Man... it must suck to be him.

Like everyone is saying, winning a Super Bowl can cure a lot. Wilson 1 Romo 0. It's that simple. Then there's Seahawks or Cowboys. Need I say more? We as cowboys should have already accepted the fact and reality of what it means to be a cowboy.
