I like it when you go to an extreme. This Oline struggled during Week 1, but that was to be expected since both Tyler Smith and Matt Farniok were forced to start at different positions which they had not practiced at or with the 1st string Offense all training camp and preseason. Granted, they performed much better Week 2 as I said they would since they finally had an extra week to practice together with the 1st string. Can you imagine how much better they would have performed to start the season had Philbin and his assistant(s) made the right move to start both of them at their current positions and with the 1st string Offense since training camp, plus made the 1st string Offense play throughout the preseason games? Do you understand now why I criticize so much, because these numbskulls who have been coaching in the NFL for so long simply can't get it right and make the correct decisions from the beginning. It's always much later after failed attempts and poor decisions that hurt the team that they finally realize what to do correctly. To top it off, now they are looking into shuffling the Oline once again. Why? It's perfect the way it is right now.
But, hey, don't criticize this coaching staff because what does one know, much less is just a JAG fan? Is that right?
And Game 1?
Struggles are bound to happen.
The OL has performed well and they have had big probs.
Give Philbin his cred.
