Norman got in Dez head. Exactly what he wanted to do.
The truth is painful sometimes. As of now, he's not earning his contract, whatever reason there might be for it.
He walked the walk. He's got the right to be low class if he really wants to be.
I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic. I doubt he wanted Dez's jersey. He had his head on the field.
And that is the book on Dez. Always has been.
Why are you so sure of that? He mentioned the Grimes exchange, something he had nothing to do with and wasn't related to anything in the game or leading up to the game. He meant it.
We beat Miami. Dez was in a good mood. exchanged jersey's. He got owned yesterday no jersey exchange. Pouting.
He has to return the money and get rid of that monkey. Ever since that monkey came to Dallas it has been one disaster after another.
And that is the book on Dez. Always has been.
If Dez was in New England, he would be a top 3 receiver. He would also had been on a team that gets the best out of him mentally and physically instead of just his physical. If that happened, you wouldn't hear this crap about him not being as good as some of the other receivers.
From one of the articles posted earlier in the thread:That's not really true, is it? He can't be salty about a jersey, can he?
So Dez has never exchanged jerseys after a loss?
Norman was talking earlier this week. I have never seen Dez talk about a secondary leading up to a game.
Anyway, if he was smiling and jersey exchanging after the game, you would be on here complaining.
Go sit on your bad foot Dez, join Romo on the bench, and count your money...
No one ever got in Jerry Rice's head. He smiled at you while he was consistently making you look foolish. Dez needs to watch some of that film...
Norman said he felt Bryant and the whole Cowboys team didn't respect him enough coming into the game. He felt slighted that Bryant traded jerseys with Miami's Brent Grimes last week but not him.
"Brent Grimes was obviously the best corner in the league," Norman said. "He got his jersey. And he was four (catches) for 45 (yards) with a touchdown," Norman said. "I think today he was two for 26 and no touchdowns. I don't know how many he caught on me, but I can think of one and that was 6 yards.
"So I don't know if he's going to want my jersey now. Maybe I'll give it to him."

Romo throws an ill-advised pass. It is picked off and the DB is winding his way through the offense toward the endzone. He comes back to the side of the field where Dez is arguing with a DB and totally oblivious of the interception, or chasing the play.
Dez is satisfying his ego in a face guard to face guard argument and the DB scores a pick six.
Now whether Dez could get to the DB and stop the score isn't important. Nor is it important the Panthers most probably would score during that possession.
But once again Dez is serving himself and not the team, and ignoring what is best for the Cowboys so he can bark at a DB. Get the respect he thinks he is due.
This is not a rocket scientist, nor a guy who can control his emotions. He has shown that with his comments about Jerry Jones during the negotiations as he ranted about Jerry not knowing him. He showed his immaturity again as he screamed in the locker room when JJT suggested he needed to grow up.
JJT was right them. Jerry far overpaid for this childish ego-driven behavior.
And I am saying it eight here, this kid will be dead broke five years out of this game.
Perhaps more talented than Michael Irvin, and yet his ego and emotions ruin all that because Dez is what he is. Petulant and out of control.
LOL Okay. According to some players on the field De was talking before the game. Guess they were lying or you just know better.
