Quite possibly one of the biggest flop seasons after being handed a huge contract that i can remember. Dez has been a straight up bum this year.

This team needs to do their homework this offseason to see how the Antonio Browns and Julio Jones of the league are being utilized, and see how they can implement that with Dez here. Hopefully Dez also takes this offseason to do some growing up, stopping in the middle of a play to chat with an opponent instead of working your *** off to try to make a tackle should never happen. And there is no bigger fan of his on here than me.

Nope, I just read what Norman said himself after the game and I didn't decide that he was being sarcastic. I guess you know better too. See, that work both ways...LOL!!!

Norman. I guess he doesn't want my jersey after saying he had one catch against him. Not hard to decipher. He certainly wasn't saying he thought Dez was all that. In fact he said Dez should return his money to Jerry.

We have another winner...

Waiting for Luke Kueckly to tell Romo to give back his money to Jerry....

Is he more talented than Irvin? I don't see it.

Perhaps physically. But you have a point.

But what made Irvin great was his desire to win and intelligence enough to lead. He understood if he led the team by riding them to be the best, and he be the best as well, then his accolades would come.

I'll never forget the story Darren Woodson told about Irvin getting a back-up QB to throw him slants after practice every day. He would catch fifty in a row or start over. Woodson said he'd go so hard Irvin would step aside and throw up he drove himself so much.

Irvin was special.

I'm trying to think if Dez really is in that category.

Tired of seeing this guy mouth off, get "dehydrated" halfway through a game, disappear, mentally check out, blow up in the locker room/sideline... I feel embarrassed for him.

I think Dez could be. He just can't wrap his head around what he could be. He talks about it. Irvin had the respect of his teammates even if he was a knucklehead at times. Like you said his work ethic warranted that. And you are right, Irvin understood lifting the others around you get's you to your own goal.

Dez ain't Irvin. The league is also very different today and Irvin wouldn't survive the scrutiny today.

Really beginning to think Dez needs to go to a new team...

Him, Romo, Carr and a few others need to give money back.

You got shut down, ok cool. Maybe you aren't 100.

But to sit there, and talk ****, and still get shut down. Disgrace

We should let Dez and Romo go. Dez needs to be with a team like the Pats. It's not like we use him correctly anyways.

And Romo just needs to go, period.

Ready to start over, and build around this O-Line.

Get rid of these trash *** Db's also

You think Belicheat is going to tolerate him having a monkey named Dallas?

My my how quickly fans turn. If you can call yourselves that. Dez is and always will be a top 5 wr in this league. The guy is playing on a surgically repaired foot and a bummed knee and you people are ripping on him? He's had Romo for 1 full game this season. 1. You all need to relax, enjoy the long weekend, and come back Monday. This is ridiculous

Some are ripping him for the wrong reasons. Some aren't.

A breakout season for Panthers cornerback Josh Norman continued in Dallas on Thursday when he scored a decisive win in his matchup with Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant. Bryant had two catches all day and one for six yards when Norman was covering him, which led Norman to say after the game that the Cowboys…http://youwillnotrackme2.net/b.gif?host=profootballtalk.nbcsports.com&blog=&post=2364948&subd=nbcprofootballtalk&ref=&feed=1

He will stop Dez. Look at what Dez has done recently prior to and post injury.

Last years playoff run. Detroit- 3 for 48. Green Bay 3 for 38
2015. NYG 5 for 48, Seattle 2 for 12, phili 5 for 104, Tampa 5 for 45, Miami 4 for 45

He's not right this year, but then again he wasn't " right" in the playoffs either. Supporters will have two arguments (1) he's " always double teamed" and (2) poor coaching isn't creative enough to get Dez open.

Pretty much all #1 all pros are doubled. Julio jones, Antonio brown, and deandre Hopkins get the same attention if not more. I hope Dez gets it in gear, and recovers from his injuries.

Yesterday no double team was needed. After rewatching the Tampa game, sterling Moore had Dez one on one and shut him down. Then I went back to training camp videos and watched where Patmon ( lol) got Dez pretty good - which caused a fight.

Next year is Dez's 7 th year in the league, he will not be a hall of fame WR and will not be an all pro but he got paid like one. I'm gonna give him the benefit of doubt and pretend that all of his inconsistent play is due to bad scheme and injuries.

What do you think about the coaching? Not just Dez, but all around in terms of creativity on the offense?

Everyone is attacking the basic premise here which is Norman calling Dez out but it's much deeper than that. Our basic coaching staff is not strategically creative enough to place Dez consistently in position to be successful. More plays from the slot.. where are they? I was so fooled by Linehan's early success as a coordinator. Now I realize it was Romo and Demarco that helped to mask his inefficiency in the innovation department. Our coaches blow.

What's weird is that Linehan was the OC for Calvin for all those years.
