Except for the time Jimmy Johnson got in his head prior to the 1993 Championship game. I think Jimmy recounts this story on America's Game.

Actually, Kevin Smith did get in Rice's head before the 92-93 NFC Championship Game and the 93-94 NFC Championship Game. In fact, Jerry got in a pregame scuffle in the 94 Championship game.

That aside, I understand your point.

There are always exceptions to every rule.

Quite possibly one of the biggest flop seasons after being handed a huge contract that i can remember. Dez has been a straight up bum this year.

I could better understand the vitriol if not for the foot injury (he's played in what, four games) and the bad back up qb play (mostly from backups). Only one full game with Romo.

I feel like who cares. They won he can say whatever he wants.

For me it makes it that much sweeter when they ultimately lose to Arizona, Greenbay, or New England.

No one ever got in Jerry Rice's head. He smiled at you while he was consistently making you look foolish. Dez needs to watch some of that film...

Dez could watch it, but he wouldn't understand it. His world is the " get in your face wold" not slick like rice.

If they're not going to use him like any smart team would use their #1 WR after giving them a huge payday, then they should have let him walk. Jerry should force Garrett to study how other teams are getting the ball to their high priced WRs and tell him to incorporate what he finds instead of having Dez run antiquated, easy to cover routes. They way Dez is being used would be reason #1 for me to send Garrett packing. You can't have a talent like that, pay him that much money, and then let him be shutdown week after week because your offense is predictable and was figured out 15 years ago.

I've heard people that couldn't even tell you who our defensive coordinator is say the same thing. If it's THAT obvious, there's a problem.
Also, I don't care what anyone says, Garrett has lost the locker room.

Norman is playing like the best CB in all of football. He can say whatever he wants, he's proving it every week

if...................

but he is not.

Besides, no way NE gives him that contract. And lets him go off in the locker room. That would not happen. Same as hardy slapping a coaches playbook out of his hands.

those things just........................................dont occur;

Bellicek and Brady had Moss. They would be in control of any situation with Dez. Not toentuin they would be winning consistently.

In sports, winning covers over a multitude of ills, including allegations of cheating. If they were losing, Deflategate would be front and center.

He does his talking on the field. Norman did his as well. Norman could have left it at that.

Players said Dez was bumping his gums before the game. Do we really know if that's true or not? No but I can see it. They were both being stupid. I'll leave it at that.

Garrett should have been sent packing at the half after they had an entire commercial break between the first and second quarter to view the obvious catch and he still challenges the play ... Not to mention he has the largest tv screen above his head in all of Texas to watch the replay. Ridiculous.
