Attorneys for Marriott say: "Taken aback by Irvin’s comments, the Victim responded that his comments were inappropriate, and she did not wish to discuss it further…Irvin then attempted to grab the Victim’s hand again and said he was ‘sorry if he brought up bad memories for her’…The Victim pulled her hand away and tried to back away from Irvin as he continued to move toward he

Am I the only one that finds this puzzling? Sounds as If this woman may have had a bad incident in her life but how would Michael know this?
not only that, but the video would clearly show her ull her hand away from mike and then him move towards her. That will be easy to see if something like that happened. BUT ECEN IF THAT HAPPENED, we still will need to know exactly what she claims he said to her. Maybe he said hey... come up to my room and let big daddy show you a good time.... and she was molested as a child by her real daddy and that triggered her..... ?????? uhm, ok. This is nuts

He may not remember word-for-word what was said, but unless he was drunk (which he does claim to not remember because he was drinking .. his words), most people, even Michael Irvin, would remember some sort of context from the discussion.
Reaching. He's a celebrity. People approach him all the time. So you will not remember every encounter if nothing happened which is what he said. Especially a few days later.

If Marriot now has to give irvin team the video, then they may edit it and release that, what do they have to lose??

That is if it shows what was said in the now revealed allegations.
The allegations say he was clearly intoxicated, and his team said he was drinking water lol.
So far he said she said, but truth will come out at some point.

I dont think Marriott would go to all this trouble if nothing was in the video, or they had no proof of the allegations.
ahhh.... lets at least get it straight for those casually observing.

Irvin's lawyer said Mike had a water in his hand in the HOTEL LOBBY when all of this went down. They didnt say at anytime he drank water all night. Get it right if you are going to relay what others said.

What a weird thing for him to say. Why would he assume he brought up bad memories for her, what would prompt that?

I wonder if any of this is on that video?

If he actually made that remark about coming back and finding her when she was working, why move him. Hell, they should have gotten a TRO. That is a threat.

Also, does that mean she was not working when she approached him? Then why did she approach him? Was she a fan and he, being Irvin, just assumed she was fair game?

None of this explains why the lawyer would risk pissing the judge off by ignoring his order to release the "evidence". Not a smart thing to do.

However, this seems to be changing to a they said/they said but that moving towards her and her retreating better show up on that video and it would be nice to see him face slap himself 3 times and repeat "there's no place like home".
If there is no face slapping by mike to himself(in the video)... they are done.

that is what some quote was in the Marriott Lawyers statement.....My part was 100% made up, but they said something about she had a bad experience or memories. Go back and read it. Someone quoted it in a previous post.

Ever heard a lawyer not say that? Parrt of their job is cheerleader to the public for their client.

Yes, look no further than the Memphis situation, the police officers lawyers saw the footage and did not say a word because their clients were right there on camera doing what they should not have been doing.

hiding to stay away from the media crap... make sense?
He used the term "hiding out" which was repeated back to him by one of the hosts. But what he said after that was more revealing "we're waiting to see what happens". Who was the "we", was part of that the NFLN? Had they told him to lay low until they had a game plan and more information?

Let's not forget the NFLN in all of this and this was very embarrassing if this got out while all of the owners are in town.

There is an additional twist in this for the NFLN. Irvin is the most over the top homer analyst on all of the NFL programs across all networks only this network is owned by the owners. Think that sits well with most of them? The Cowboys already get their unfair share of the media coverage and they've got their cheerleader on our network.

I think this exacerbated the issues the NFLN was having with what to do with Irvin. That, and what would happen if this got out and it looked like they were complicit in covering it up? Some heads would roll for sure at the NFLN.

But here's the 64K question. Did the hotel share all of these new details about the two employee witnesses and what they said transpired with the NFLN? What does the NFL know and when did they know it?

I am reaching, yet you are the one claiming to know how the minds of celebrities work ... :D

Since I am not a celebrity whisperer, I prefer to focus more on the facts since Michael Irvin himself admitted that he did not remember what was said because he had been drinking.

So, if I am a female employee of Marriott and I see this new revelation of what the lawyer is saying and Irvin threatened to return to see her when she was working, why were the authorities not called in? Because that is a threat.

Common sense. You also claimed it was the next day and that wasn't true. It was several days later. So you didn't remember something correctly but you want to judge someone else. Interesting.

But I guess you can draw some kind of inference from someone saying that they don't remember something days later without adding the context that he was a celebrity and how many people he met that day. Makes sense or not.

The NFLN is the one who ha smore Cowboys coverage than other teams BY CHOICE. These networks know where their bread is buttered. Same with cowherd and every other show. Its cowboys cowboys and more cowboys everyday. Irvin is paid because he is a homer. Nobody expects any different. Just like ESPN pays SAS for his ACT of being a Cowboy hater. Its good for ratings.

How about, ALEGATIONS.

You ever see a video of 2 scenes that have the exact same dialogue but they are said with completely different pauses and inflections?

You JUMP to some crazy conclusion that Mike THREATENED to return another day and stalk her, and kill her..... please.

Maybe she said no mike, I cant come up tonight, Im working. And he smiled as he was walking away and said, ok baby, maybe ill come find you on another night.

It is crazy how you take stuff and twist it in the worst possible light regardless of the FACT you have heard 2 witnesses describe the events that took place as nothing but jovial, cordial, and nothing that caused them to have any alarm.... NOTHING, yet you still cling to this claim of Mike THREATENING Her... cmon.

Several days later means he had more time to think about it. He will not escape the don't remember because of having drinks. That will become a critical part of the defense's strategy, if this moves forward.

Lol. Irvin's team trying to make it about the video. Rather than what the accusers are saying. It would be totally normal for someone to be shocked by what was said and later react to it. Seems like the video is not really helpful nor are the defense's "eyewitnesses." None of this points one way or another but those of you thinking this acquits him are waaaay off.
Accusers?

According to you. And we already know how you feel. How do you know what kind of drinks he had or if they had any alcohol? Could have been beer or root beer. You don't know.

Man if what the allegations of what was said are true as an employer I am really concerened now, how did you not call the police when a drunken patron basic says "I am going to stalk you" to a female employee. The video should show Irvin slapping himself I would think and her pulling away and him trying to regrab her...I would think this would be easy to prove if it happened how they said. If Irvin's lawyers saw this video and it showed this I have a hard time seeing how they are not moving to another plan.."Releasing this video to the public" would be the worst move they could make if this happened.

The same question remains and Irvin's lawyer talked about body language and how many times Irvin touched her but nothing about what was said and Irvin, himself, talked around not at what was said by either party.

So, that asks the question does he still say he doesn't remember what was said?

And now what we have is a new reason to watch this video, the NFL's version of Avatar this off season. Did the pull back from her and advance by him show up on video and this self face slap, from here on to be known as a Slappie as opposed to Selfie, show up on that video?

The lawyer said he's releasing it but gave no date, will it ever be released?
