Whatever.

Thanks for your part in 3 SB wins Mike, but your behavior off the field has been questionable for years and comparing this legal proceeding to a "lynching" was one of the dumbest, tone deaf, things I've ever heard. I don't care how this case ends, I just want it to end.

Irvin clearing his name may never agree to a settlement. If I didnt do any of what is being thrown out there, and im already wealthy, no way in hell I would agree to settle. He wants his life back.

Which goes back to what I was suggesting. If there is a settlement, she accepted it and the hotel is dependent on her testimony being factual, or at least persuasive to a jury or judge. Irvin will not accept a settlement if he is having to pay it, I would think.

So he could not have turned his life around since thirty years ago, and his behavior for years has been what exactly?

For most people, "he was drinking and had no memory of the conversation from the night before" implies he was drunk.

However, to you he was sober. Got it!
Michael Irvin is 57.
Most people over 50 can walk from one room to the next in their own home and completely forget why they entered the room without a drop of alcohol. It doesn't take them much to forget a meaningful conversation, much less an unimportant one.

This idea that drinking=drunk by some on here is stupid,
no matter what side you're on.

Lol. Irvin's team trying to make it about the video. Rather than what the accusers are saying. It would be totally normal for someone to be shocked by what was said and later react to it. Seems like the video is not really helpful nor are the defense's "eyewitnesses." None of this points one way or another but those of you thinking this acquits him are waaaay off.
Doesn't Aquit him but now there are a couple of specific movements that can be looked for in the video at least

Attorneys for Marriott say: "Taken aback by Irvin’s comments, the Victim responded that his comments were inappropriate, and she did not wish to discuss it further…Irvin then attempted to grab the Victim’s hand again and said he was ‘sorry if he brought up bad memories for her’…The Victim pulled her hand away and tried to back away from Irvin as he continued to move toward he

Am I the only one that finds this puzzling? Sounds as If this woman may have had a bad incident in her life but how would Michael know this?

And for me, even if he did what was accused, it shouldn't cost him his career.
What world do you live in ?? lol
He is a public figure representing any network he works for, and no network is going to keep someone who would act like that in
a public place. Anyone doing his job would have to avoid any bad press or public incidents.
If it is true , he has only himself to blame.

Maybe HE was the bad incident ? He knew her and was going for round 2?

If Marriot now has to give irvin team the video, then they may edit it and release that, what do they have to lose??

That is if it shows what was said in the now revealed allegations.
The allegations say he was clearly intoxicated, and his team said he was drinking water lol.
So far he said she said, but truth will come out at some point.

I dont think Marriott would go to all this trouble if nothing was in the video, or they had no proof of the allegations.

From the night before? Most people who had not been drinking would.
Not how the human mind works. What little we do remember tends to be the beginning and end of the convo. We forget what's in the middle. That's why when elicitation techniques are taught, they teach us to hide the true purpose in the middle of the convo to lessen the chance people remember what we asked about. People have terrible memories. Someone like Mike meets a lot of people. I no way he remembers every convo, especially a brief one.

Try this, think about every convo you had yesterday. Do you remember everything said? I'm 100% certain you don't.

If he's not "Michael Irvin," I honestly don't believe this would have ever even been a formal complaint.

The documents say when Irvin returned to the Renaissance Phoenix Hotel on February 5, he "appeared to be visibly intoxicated," and in conversation with the female staffer, asked a lewd question that's too graphic to detail on TV, but referenced intercourse with a Black man.

Attorneys for Marriott say: "Taken aback by Irvin’s comments, the Victim responded that his comments were inappropriate, and she did not wish to discuss it further…Irvin then attempted to grab the Victim’s hand again and said he was ‘sorry if he brought up bad memories for her’…The Victim pulled her hand away and tried to back away from Irvin as he continued to move toward her."

According to Marriott, "two other Hotel employees noticed that the Victim had a look of concern on her face…Irvin then stated that he would come back to find her sometime that week when she was working."

Marriott goes on to say another employee walked over to Irvin after the victim walked away, and that "After Irvin finished leering at the Victim and turned back to Employee 1, he said aloud ‘she bad,’ ‘she bad…’" followed by a sexual remark.

He then "slapped himself in the face three times, saying ‘keep it together Mike.’"
I have no idea what happened but it would not be surprising if any part of this turned out to be true.

Or the video doesn’t support their narrative and therefore they don’t want it made public. Kind of reminds me of another situation with some video that didn’t support a narrative that one group was perpetuating. Like in that case, the truth shall be revealed.

Anyone else think it’s ironic that in the alleged incident Irvin used race in his proposition and also in his defense ?

Quote from Irving ..

Irvin: "It was a one minute meeting somewhere in the lobby. I don’t even really remember because I had a few drinks, to be honest."
