He has been clean for over a year so ya, I think he has some will power. I have known people who hit rock bottom addicted to more than just weed and have turned their completely around.
Can’t remember where I read this but I recall information that he has passed all drug tests for welll over a year and just needed his bipolar meds regulated. Good for him.

I like this. It makes sense.

It reminds me of Terrance Howard in that scene from get rich or die trying when he’s telling 50 cent that he is always right even when he’s wrong.

We only have the fan perspective unfortunately but from the human perspective I think it would be best for him too. I've seen kids live from pay check to pay check to buy weed. It takes precedence over everything else. No it's not addictive but the life style is. Laying around, being lazy is a good lifestyle, smokin bud with the buds until you realize the buds are buds because of the bud. Then ya go hmmmm, my buds aren't really my buds, I'm out of green to buy the green and my buds are here because of the green and the bud. I suppose it's the same for football but eventually we learn who our friends really are right

No harm in letting this young man get a second chance. We aren’t counting on him at all and he may not even make the final 46 on game day but he’s better than most camp bodies.

How do we know this is fact? Isn’t it an assumption?
How do you know he hasn't been clean? Pretty sure he is still being tested by the NFL. He was tested while suspended several time, hence the year suspension. Do you think the NFL suspends people and just walks away? He is still under contract and if he wants to return to football he would be required to test for drug use.

I don't know he hasn't been clean. I also don't know he has been. It was claimed it is fact. I'm wondering what proof we have it is fact. Do you have any or is there speculation he has been clean since he is about to file for reinstatement?

I hope he gets it right this time.

Better for him.

Better for the Cowboys.

Better for us fans.

Yep. At this point he's a zero risk proposition. If he comes in grinds away and can actually utilize his superior athletecism to help the team, we all win. If not, it's no different than the past two years. We move on and wish him the best of luck.

Who told you that? Besides the media.

He's passed all his drug tests in that period.

Weed is among the hardest to get out of touy system as it is fat soluble. Ironically, he'd be more likely to fail a test smoking weed that shooting the occasional speedball

100% support him if he has his life in a good place. Don't count on him to start, but he can help the team coming off the bench.

Yup I just don't see the downside.

They didn't just stop drug testing him. Once your in the system, drug testing continues even more frequently than ever.

Oh big dog. So judgmental. But you don't know the difference between your and you're.

Sad. The worst.

He's just trying to get back to the gravy train. Once he's back, he will get comfortable... Just like before... & smoke.
