Here's the strange part for me. So allegedly Zeke is beating on this girl and then keeps it up for a week. I don't know Zeke personally, but I wonder if someone in his position would do this several times over the course of 5 days when she was threatening to blow the cover off this after day one.

Believe or not it is really hard to get a restraining order on a woman against a man unless there is weapons and multiple hospital visits. You know that thing that if a woman says a guy hit her the guy goes jail sort of the reverse when a man goes for a restraining order against a woman.

Exactly .........remember this is a person had just his dream come true of being drafted by the Cowboys just a couple months earlier. Yet he supposedly not only beat her once but several times over the course of 5 days. Just can't imagine Zeke being that stupid.........doesn't make any sense.

Via Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, Elliott filed a complaint with Frisco, Texas authorities on September 5, alleging harassment against Thompson. Elliott claimed that he received “50-plus” phone calls from Thompson in a span of less than seven hours, including multiple calls from a blocked number.

The incident occurred only two days before authorities in Columbus, Ohio announced that Elliott would not be charged with domestic violence in response to accusations made by Thompson.

Elliott also claimed that Thompson hacked into his email account, found phone numbers of other women that Elliott was “messing around with,” and called them.

This can also be any of us....all someone has to do is SAY you did something and your life can be turned upside down whether there's any truth to it or not.

Our society has gone from innocent until proven guilty to guilty until proven innocent.

This is absolutely true. When I was in High School I was accused of Armed Robbery. The kid who got robbed along with two of his friends went to the police department to look at possible suspects and all 3 of them picked my picture from my Highschool yearbook.

I was in class when I got called down to the office when I got in the office there were detectives and police officers in the room. They asked me about my whereabouts on the day it happened and told me three people accused me of armed Robbery and I couldn't believe it. I got handcuffed read my rights and everything.

To make a long story short this dragged on for about 3 months. When I finally went to court the kid that got robbed saw me face to face for the first time and realized I wasn't the guy and told his lawyer that I wasn't the person that did it and they dismissed the case.

Just a case of mistaken identity got me arrested and I did absolutely nothing. So If Zeke is claiming he's innocent then you have to give him the benefit of the doubt. I really wish this could've played out in court because Zeke probably wouldn't have been suspended at all.

They both tried to break-up with these women but you can't dump crazy I guess without paying the price

The NFL hid behind the bs Bench Trial with Hardy and used the same out of context bruise photos as the damning evidence....... neither accuser had one bit of credibility and neither player had any violent or criminal history beyond speeding tickets

You just can't ignore the fact that charges were dropped or never filed in both cases
This might as well be Salem Mass with the Witch Trials

If they drown then they weren't Witches but if they survive they are burned at the stake for being a Witch

The claim by itself won't help him.

If he can prove it will phone records, it would help his cause. He would need to prove that it was her number. Also, if she called and harassed other people connected to him, then they could be witnesses.

I don't think so, Hardy was arrested and charged. Zeke was not arrested and DA declined to press charges

My mom told me the way things worked and to always protect myself from certain situations. The same message is being passed down to my son from my wife. I have always considered it common knowledge that our society is pro female. I hope I don't offend anyone with this comment.

We're not talking about custody cases. And those cases are wins for women generally because most men either have not shown the propensity to be a full-time custodian of their children or simply don't show up.

I'm not going to sit here and make this a thread of dumping on women. Nobody needs to do that here in order to leap to Zeke's defense -- there is enough seemingly objective evidence to hold an opinion about Zeke's culpability without throwing women under the bus en masse.
