Nope, because they'll argue that it doesn't mean he didn't do it. You all keep trying to make this about her, and it's not about her, it's about his (alleged) actions. The league clearly wasn't bothered by the (alleged) idea that she's a liar.

skank has lied and falsified evidence.
this is just another piece to evidence to demonstrate she is a psycho.
psycho's are more likely to hurt themselves to create evidence.

this is a zero sum game.
why dont u decide which side u r on.

Because I wasn't there, and there's a lot of moving parts to this. Like most things in life, I'll take a non-biased, factual approach until a final decision is made. The law isn't necessarily black and white, there's a lot of gray, and this case is no different.

say gray all you want. it is a zero sum game of a public relations war. it will be one side or the other.

Time will tell. If an independent arbitrator comes back after the appeal and upholds the suspension, that'll tell us a lot, and the police department that initially investigated it will be made a fool. Hopefully that won't be the case, and the egg will be placed on the face of the league.

the pr war has started.
just like a political campaign
it is who can get the message out better and through more outlets.

jerry started by saying - no way zeke gets suspended
league responded with the 6 games and calling him a woman beater
zeke father responded by listing all the psycho things she did with evidence etc.
zeke mother responded by saying goodell was not even at the hearing.
each side having their press friends write stories.

Did you read the entire article? It most definitely doesn't mean nothing.
Yup, always read PFT (good podcast too!). I've discussed this at length with my wife, who's an attorney, and she agrees that her mental state won't have a huge bearing on a case that revolves around whether he hit her or not (edit: unless they can prove that she's lying about this, which would be hard to do) . Just because she's crazy doesn't mean that he's incapable of hitting her, and judging by the league's suspension, they aren't too concerned about her mental state either.

The question in this case is whether or not he hit her, not whether or not she's crazy, and the evidence the league gathered seems to support the idea that he hit her (in their mind); crazy or not.

I get it, I do, and I genuinely hope that he didn't do it, and that that'll be made clear after it's all said and done. It's all out of the league's hands at this point, so let's see where this thing goes.

given the police did not indict him or her, it is highly unlikely the NFL unearthed any new evidence that is the smoking gun that points to him or her. given the way both sides are acting, it is even more unlikely there is any conclusive proof.

at the end of this, the most likely result that no one else beyond him and her knowing what actually happened.

thus, this is just a legal war and a public relations war. the question is how to get more articles and 'shocking revelations' into the press.

By the way, I get that my stance isn't popular on a Cowboys message board, and I feel like I should give the other side of my thought process.

I've always maintained that I disagree when the league thinks it's above the law. In this case, the law didn't see it fit to charge him with anything, who is the league to overwrite the law?

like i said, there is probably not going to be on conclusive resolution unless someone cracks under the pressure.
imo, the most likely people to crack would be the NFL owners who see $ flying out the door.
the question is how do they limit the damage.
jerry has to offer them a way out, while zeke team has to push the league to the brink.

there is nothing alleged about her lying. THAT has been proven.

you are free to post whatever you want.
the problem is you want an ideal that is not going to happen.
it is not going to be apple pie and sugar spice everything nice no matter how much one wishes it.
this is big business, big $ and people actively trying to destroy the other party.
i view it as essentially as a campaign.

No doubt, it's a frustrating case that is essentially a "his word vs. her word". Unfortunately for him (assuming he didn't do it), this affects his future, and she'll forever be the victim. She will have successfully cost him millions in potential endorsement money, and he'll forever be a villan in the court of public opinion.

Side note: I almost feel dirty, we managed to have a conversation with opposing views where nobody got called a **** head. Well done, gentlemen.

it is unfortunate for him because he has money.
she has nothing so not much u can take away from her.
it is highly likely that she will move (or move again) to a new state and city after she sells her story.

if team zeke can prove that she is a psychopath blackmailing him for $ and intent to cause her own bruises, then he would be mostly vindicated.
most likely it would not be a 100% victory though.
