It's all he has.... get used to it!

I'm amazed how some folks know the play called and player responsabilities for that play when the "analyse" a play. Sheer brilliance.

I'm glad TOol has gone and taken that bus. Jerry smelt the coffee. :)

I kinda doubt that history will repeat itself for a fourth time.

Well, right there is the pickle. Peyton and those coaches will really expose us for what we couldnt accomplish. = Getting the ball to the playmaker.. .because he wants it, because its the right thing to do.

Manning will strangle him right in the huddle. Not going to happen.

I think Denver would have been a lock if Shanny was still there, but I doubt Bowlen unleashes TO on his new rookie Head Coach. Pus Cutler is supposedly a bit of an arse so who knows how that plays out with TO.

I think it might be Oakland or Washington by default, and Owens is going eat up either of those QBs within half a season.

I will say that I'll miss TO making plays here. I won't miss him quite as much as Roy but I'm bias to Roy because I've been a huge fan of Roy since the first time I saw him play at OU.

But I am sad about it.

I know your not trying to be brilliant. You'd come down with a sever headache based upon your already minuscule IQ level. Seriously, if your going to say something relevant, then say it.

For the record it's you're and severe...and miniscule.

I think Drew Rosenhaus is full of it saying several teams are interested.

Think he is just trying to drum up a market for maybe one or two teams.

But...It is his job.

I don't think he's full of it. Especially considering he still put up 10 TD's and over 1000 years in a down season.

And I would not be surprised if it's a team you least expect. It won't be a long term deal though. It will be a 1-2 year deal.

TITANS ACTUALLY IN THE MIX FOR T.O.?

Posted by Mike Florio on March 6, 2009, 11:19 a.m.

Our friends at KSK (via our friends at ********) have caught wind of a rumor that receiver Terrell Owens was spotted at the airport in Nashville this morning, with agent Drew Rosenhaus.

Presumably, the purpose of such a trip would be to meet with the Titans.
That said, Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reported on Thursday that the Titans aren’t interested in Terrell Owens.

But, as we’ve recently mentioned (primarily in an effort to cover our ***** as to the potential inaccuracy of the Anti-T.O. List), teams could be suggesting publicly or privately that they don’t want Owens merely to soften up his salary expectations.

I just don't see Fisher going for this.

I Agree with some of the guys on ESPN; Tennesee might be the team that would benefit most from TO, even moreso than the Saints.

In Tennesee, you have a rock solid coach who is strong, but doesn't run his mouth, a veteran QB starting, a great running game, and a need at WR.

Having lost Haynesworth, signing TO might be a great move for their offense and the organization that believes it is on the SB trail.

Frankly, I think any team that signs TO will get a great player and few if any issues for at least 1 year. He will put up a great year if he's with a good team, and I don't think he'll sign with a poor team. He will play so well that it will make us look like goofs for releasing him.........
BUT...
Let's not forget that he is almost always happy for the first year. The honeymoon was over in Dallas. I expect him to have a very good year if a team like Tenn. signs him. I don't think Minny has a good enough QB situation to keep him happy, and any team with a young QB would have to be crazy.

If TO goes to the Colts, Jerry is going to be banging his head against the wall, watching TO put up among the best number of his career. One of the bone-headed moves of Jerry Jones in his history as the Cowboys owner.

That is the best place for him to go. Fisher is a good, strong minded coach. I won't be surprised if he has a deal by next week, and the Titans immediately become the SB favorites from the AFC.

If Tenn signs TO they better hope Collins never gets hurt. TO and VY would be interesting to watch. TO will blow when VY pulls the ball down and runs instead of throwing it to him.

ROSENHAUS SAYS “SEVERAL TEAMS” ARE INTERESTED IN OWENS

Posted by Mike Florio on March 6, 2009, 8:28 a.m.

As the list of teams that have said publicly or off-the-record that they aren’t interested in receiver Terrell Owens grows, his agent claims that “several teams” would like to acquire the player’s services.

“These are several teams that are interested in signing Terrell,” Drew Rosenhaus told us Friday morning. “I have been in negotiations with these teams. I will not identify these teams at this time.”

So how quickly will this process unfold?

“Terrell and I expect to have a deal in place by the end of next week if not sooner,” Rosenhaus said.

A total of sixteen teams (and counting) appear on our Anti-T.O. List, reflecting the teams that publicly or privately have said that they won’t be pursuing the free agent.

In our view, possible destinations include the Broncos, the Raiders, and maybe even the Colts.

But we’ve got a feeling that, if Owens lands anywhere, it could be with a team that no one expected to be in the running.

And we also don’t rule out the possibility that the team that ultimately gets him will be a team that initially said “no thanks,” since such an approach might be the best way to soften his salary expectations.

The question is: are these teams NFL teams or canadian teams?

Actually, he was inept, by the end of the season, when he lost TO to the high-ankle sprain. Tony Romo didn't look that good without him either. Further, teams figured Jason Garrett out by the end of the year, as TO said this year. Whatever TP has said came to fruition. What your telling me is like telling me the 4-6 was great when the Bears won the Superbowl. Guess what? The West Coast offense came and pretty much ended it as a base defense. Nobody uses the 4-6 anymore as a base defense.

One more time, so that was TR forcing the ball to TO into triple coverage the last offensive play of the Giants play-off game or Terry Glenn? That was TO, Tony Romo threw the ball to against the Ravens on that final INT or Witten? I thought everybody use to say that Tony Romo has a tendency to force the ball once in awhile, costing us INTs, but that we could live with it, because he makes so many great plays. Guess what? Jason Garrett's offense exemplified this problem of TR. Why was Wade saying we need to establish a running game to reign in Tony Romo? I thought Jason garrett was a QB coach prior to hsi stint with the Cowboys. What was Romo's problem is now suddenly TOs fault? Hypocrisy on this board is amazing.

Like I said, the Giants beat the Cowboys last year in the second-half of the playoffs with the same game-plan that teams did this year. Garrett has never adjusted since then. Garrett has destroyed this team.

TO says that teams figured out Jason Garrett, I say that it is more that teams figured out how they could stop TO, and TO is not able to recover from it.

There was a time in TO's career that teams didn't DARE to match a CB, even the best CB's up against TO in press coverage, if/when they did, TO would abuse them so bad it would not even be funny. However, what happened last year, started all the way back in 2007 (people just do not realize it). Detroit to an extent, and the largely Philly showed the league that you could line up your #1 CB on TO in press coverage with a safety back incase TO did get free, and more often than not, that CB could handle TO himself. That was the end of the quick strike offense and the end of TO's HUGE season even in 2007. After those two games (but largely the Philly game), TO has posted EXACTLY 2 100 yard games out of 18 games. Also TO's yards per catch have gone down significantly as a whole as well. In early 2007 a sub 14 ypc game was RARE, infact he only had 4 sub 14 ypc games (one against St Louis where Crayton went off for 7 catches for 184 yards, and we won 35-7, one against Buffalo the game that Romo threw 5 INT's and the offense never got on track, one against New England (enough said there), and one against New York Jets where we only threw the ball 28 times compared to 34 rushes and won 34-3. He also had ZERO games with TPC of under 10.

Starting with the Detroit game, TO has only had a YPD of over 14 in 8 of 18 games. And in three of those games he was limited to only 2 catches. He also has had 7 games where he has had a YPC of under 10.

In no way am I saying that TO is still not a good and dangerous NFL WR, he definately is. But, what I am saying is that TO is no longer an elite #1 WR in the NFL, he is truely more of a #2 type of NFL WR, he has just managed to put up the numbers that he has because he has Romo throwing him the ball and with Witten taking the pressure off of him, and been the #2 target in a passing based offense. Don't think you can put up 69 catches for 1052 yards, and 10 TD's without being a legit #1 NFL WR? Well Mike Martz managed to turn Shaun McDonald into a 79 catch, 943 yard, 6 TD WR as the #3 option in 2007, and that was with Kitna as the starting QB, not a Tony Romo.

And for it is worth, Charlie Casserly a former GM in the NFL agrees with my view:
Casserly on TO's ability

You'd have to be pretty stupid to think a team is NOT going to sign him.

I agree but I think you'd have to be even more stupid to believe that there is a waiting line to talk to Drew.

I don't believe a word out of that guys mouth. After watching him put on that trick and pony show with McGahee on draft day, I'll be taking every word he says with a tad of salt.

Its gonna be a middle of the road team who thinks they will be able to get over the hump with him.

I don't think any real competitor will touch the guy. Someone mentioned Indy? Are you kidding me?
