I agree with your assessment of Dak's running, but Romo is a much better thrower of the football and I would rather have that than the running threat. I believe that, more so than Dak's running, will open more lanes for Zeke. Teams won't stack the box against Tony like they do Dak and that will create more room.

At this time, in my opinion, Tony is a much better option.

So are you saying Romo didn't get blitzed? Lol...smh. Well, we will agree to disagree.

I have to agree with you Super i love Both Dak and Tony i have personally been torn replacing Tony so because of that i have not given an opinion on this topic i think we win either way, but i am sick of this debate also unfortunately it is going nowhere :(

True I find myself defending both. I know if Romo does return he will be under tremendous pressure to play lights out and I would love nothing more than to see Tony do just that and win a SB. That may not happen and if it doesn't it will not lessen my view of Tony Romo. As for Dak he is a young QB still learning as he plays, he will make mistakes he will get fooled on plays and eventual he will lose another game but what he has shown me thus far is a he is a guy who will fight to the end and when he messes up he will put it behind him and keep going to do everything he can to help his team win. That is what I love about Romo as well, not every game is perfect and there have been many games he has not played very good in but he will not quit and will do everything he can to help his team win.

Dak is not a running QB. He's a pocket passer with running skills. Thank you very much! You act like Romo was accurate when he first started....lol. Smh.
Romo was 2nd in the league in completion % in his first season and is 4th in history overall. Thank YOU very much, Boy Genius.

Cowboys to do list:
1. Bring Tony back
2. Win Super Bowl
3. Tell Tony to hang'em up while on top.

Everyone's happy this way.

4. Tony moves directly from Super Bowl winning QB to QB coach to mentor our QB of the future.

Where did I say they wouldn't blitz? I said they wouldn't stack the box like they have been doing against Dak. There is a difference between blitzing and stacking the box. The Philly corners were just squatting on routes, (we only had 1 good deep ball to back them off). Defenses are daring Dak to beat them throwing the ball because they are terrified of what Zeek and that line can do in the running game.

The point of my post was that Tony is a better passer (arm talent) than Dak. If you or anyone else don't recognize that, then I don't know what to tell you.

Dak's mobility has been a big factor in the Cowboys winning. And it's not just his 4 rushing TD's, although that has been great. It's his ability to throw on the run, the read option, and extending plays like he did with the TD to Witten. Much of that will be gone if Romo returns. That's a lot to give up.

Just stupid. Do you have selective memory? Romo has made so many plays on the run, out of the pocket and all over the place that Dak will never comes close to making in the history of his career.

Romo is the master of making something from nothing. You guys just kill me. Romo could have made the play to Witten in his sleep!

Maybe years ago. Nobody even knows now. He can't even slide without getting injured now, apparently.

How about against JJ Watt? So now a collarbone injury messes up your mobility? Utter nonsense. So you are saying he can't do a simple spin move anymore ......

"Can't slide without getting injured" really, how many times do QB's get hit from behind like that on a slide - I don't think I have seen it much at all.

Completely agree. People call him the "black tebow" which puts in most people's minds that he is a run first QB. DP has been playing in the pocket since preseason. DP has shown, to me at least he's looking to pass the ball unless it's a read option. Some coaches and analysts have already said he stays in the pocket too long but it's okay because the OL is really good.

Romo isn't out with a collarbone. He's out with injuries that made Aikman retire. Not many QBs in the NFL are as fragile as TR is now, either. And why are you bringing up a guy in his 20s? Irrelevant here. People need to cure their amnesia. This is 2016, not 2008 or 2014.

Yeah, you have a good bit of amnesia!

Did you not see Romo scrambling out of the pocket during the preseason when he got injured? He looked like a slow 36 year old with a history of multiple back surgeries. His scrambling days are over, especially coming off a fractured lumbar vertebra. I'm talking about now, which is the only thing that matters for the current season.

I'll give you that even though he threw the least amount of passes of the top 20 QBs that year. And let's do away with the "Boy" deal, son. Don't let being behind a computer make you so brave.

Ok, whatever you say.

You sound like an expert based on one play

Not at all, as I don't time travel back to the "good times" and skip everything that's happened in between then and now. It's been a long time. The amnesiacs completely fail to do this.

And Tony should be. I'm not doubting that at all. But, so many people are trying to find fault in Daks game. Tony was not a perfect QB. YES...he is a better passer than Dak at this stage. But, compare Tony's stats his first year playing to Daks. Both are good. Both are on OUR team. And you just don't mess with chemistry.

He'll get better with experience.
