Thats the thing about TO.
Love him or hate him you knew we were going to get a dominant player.
Pacman has only played 2 seasons and set out his 3rd.
There are absolutely no guarantees with this guy.
T.O. got 25 mil over 3 years. We're not giving Pacman anywhere near that.
There are no guarantees, which is why we give him a low-risk deal.
If he effs up, buh bye. If not, it's potentially a
HUGE addition. I'm all for it.
While some of us were aginst the signing of TO one thing none of us worried about was TO getting arrested or having off the field problems with police.
It doesn't matter, and here's why: whether it's T.O. creating havoc in the locker room or Pacman and his cronies shooting up a strip club,
the bottom line is that it bothers us as fans because it hurts the team.
Signing T.O. was a risk because it had the potential to hurt the team, especially with how much we paid for him. The signing has worked out wonderfully, would you not agree?
Signing Pacman is also a risk because if he gets in trouble off the field, he can't help us on the field and it would be a distraction.
BUT we aren't going to break the bank for him, and since Henry and Newman will both be in their 30s when the season starts, we could still justifiably draft a CB in the 1st or 2nd round. "You can never have enough good corners", as the saying goes.
Pacman has said numerous times now that he'd love to be a Cowboy... don't underestimate that. He should know that this will be pretty much his last chance with Sheriff Goodell in charge (if he even gets reinstated).
