Pollard: I feel like I'm faster

Oh probably because it’s a forum so you’re allowed to post your opinion. My opinion, which is based on what docs said and what the injuries are, is that he will have no issues being himself. I do not think he’ll be faster, but I don’t think the way some are treating this injury is sensible.

High ankle sprains and self healing fractures are not career or performance threatening injuries. I don’t think talking about Tony’s injury in a thread about Tony’s injury is as wildly off-topic as you are suggesting lol
That's fine. As you say...I'm allowed to post things too. I was just asking no need to get upset.

Probably not , but not improbable
It’s highly unlikely an RB is going to gain a step entering their fifth year in the league, especially after suffering a serious leg injury that took months to rehab. RBs don’t get faster with age.

How’s he going to be faster after fracturing his fibula and undergoing ankle surgery? He may end up just as fast but he’s not going to get faster than he was.
You don’t know that. You’re just assuming the negative side because that’s what most do here. It’s easy. The forum is full of these types so negativity breeds negativity amongst the weak minded. What if he had loose bones floating around in his ankle and the were removed during surgery? You would be faster after that. That’s just 1 example so don’t try and tear that particular “what if” down.

You have all seriously overestimated this young man's talent base.
He is not, I repeat NOT, a starting bell weather HB like Zeke used to be!!!!
Also, factor in an inept passing game and this coming season might turn into another the defense gave up in the 3rd Q(Tired), and the game is over!
I wish us GL either way......
An inept passing offense that was #14th best with Rush playing 5 games? See this is why everyone believes you’re a joke. You just HATE all the time.

Here you go with the negative crap again. Try finding a new schtick.

I agree , But the injury has nothing to do with it. It’s not were speed comes from.

That’s not where speed comes from. It’s a group of movement.

I thought so myself when I went for my run, then i came back and looked at my time a minute slower than my last awful run....go figure.

..remember when you were a kid. And you got new pair of sneakers.

All of sudden, you felt, ................ Im faster now. ... ;)..
I could fly once I got a pair of these (circa 1962).

It's possible that with all the leg work he's doing that he did get faster. But he said felt faster it's not like he said he's running faster times.
Yup.

He ran a 4.52 at the combine workout.

That speed is likely north of 4.6 now.

Its a fine line.

He was very fast in those C gap runs.

If Jerry doesnt give him a new deal before the July deadline....likely UFA after the season.
