Those 7 points the 49ers scored in the second half of the 2021 playoff game came when Dak threw an interception at our own 25 yard line. Those 3 points Dallas scored on the 5 drives I mentioned came when Dallas used a fake punt just to keep the drive alive

QB’s don’t grow on trees. No matter what you think of Dak, he‘s not the reason for not having much playoff success. He was 2nd in NFL MVP race for a reason. He’s that good. Once he’s gone, it could possibly be years before they break .500. This is no Chicago Bears defense in the making not with massive holes at DT and LB. Mahomes and Brady are generational type players. Picking a QB in the draft is a 50/50 crap shoot AT BEST. So many 1st round busts at that position. Casual fans don’t understand that and want Dak gone NOW. But ask them who’s going to be the QB? They think anyone they draft will be the answer right away. Not likely to happen.

I hope Dak gets extended because I know he gives the team the best chance of winning the Super Bowl. I just hope it’s a team friendly extension. Fix the running game and get a defense that can stop the run and he can easily lead this team to the Super Bowl.

QBs are more available now. Vet QBs get traded and become free agents now. Not like it was 20 years ago anymore.

They controlled the ball most of the second half. They had a 14 play drive in the 4th quarter that didn’t lead to points but ate up a lot of the clock. They pounded us in that game for 169 yards on the ground, winning the time of possession battle but you keep saying our defense did its job. In the 2022 game in SF, Dak lost that game. That was the worst playoff performance of his career. I’ve already said our defense played well enough to win that game. It’s our only playoff loss under Dak where the D played respectably. The 49ers won the battle in the trenches in both games. They’re too physical for the Cowboys.

Again you ignore the 5 drives Dallas possessed the ball and came away with a total of THREE points. The defense showed up in the second half, Dallas offense never got off the bus

It's a football game, our QB is supposed to respond to the other team scoring. He does the opposite especially in big games against better teams. It is what it is. It isn't rocket science. 8 years and he has gotten WORSE in big games. Who cares what the defense does? It's irrelevant to how bad his play is in these games.

You must be out of touch with the game if you think it’s going to be easy finding a QB that can consistently lead the Cowboys to the playoffs. We don’t know that for a fact. No QB is going to be the answer with the playoff teams we have. We can’t run the ball, the defense sucks and we commit too many penalties. How is any QB going to overcome that? As for Rush they rallied around him because we were trying to save our season until Dak returned. Our defense played lights out! Our running game was better. Rush didn’t have to do much. He only threw 5 TD passes in 6 games. Our offense fell to 17th with him and we had very little passing game. We won with our kicker and defense. If you think the team will rally around him for a full season and he’ll be the one to get us over the hump you’re kidding yourself.
