I’ll cure any defense giving up 169 yards on the ground and can’t make critical stops. It’s laughable how anyone could defend our playoff defenses.
Can't make critical stops? We already went over this the defense held the 49ers to 7 points in the second half, meanwhile Dak and the offense scored a total of 3 points on 5 offensive drives between the end of the 2nd and 3rd quarter. In 2022 the 49ers run game was held to 3.5 ypc and a total of 19 points? Yet you have the nerve to blame the defense for that loss? Daks two turnovers weren't the main contributor?

I bet cooper rush doesn't spot GB 2 TD's in the playoffs.

Yeah, you’re one of those guys who just want Dak gone. You could care less about winning. There’s a few of your types here who are praying for a 0-17 season.
And you’re one of the guys who place regular season wins against dregs teams a great accomplishment and failure to win in postseason just a side issue when it’s apparent Dak is the choke point for those failures. As for MVP you do know Dak didn’t get one first place vote.

QB’s don’t grow on trees. No matter what you think of Dak, he‘s not the reason for not having much playoff success. He was 2nd in NFL MVP race for a reason. He’s that good. Once he’s gone, it could possibly be years before they break .500. This is no Chicago Bears defense in the making not with massive holes at DT and LB. Mahomes and Brady are generational type players. Picking a QB in the draft is a 50/50 crap shoot AT BEST. So many 1st round busts at that position. Casual fans don’t understand that and want Dak gone NOW. But ask them who’s going to be the QB? They think anyone they draft will be the answer right away. Not likely to happen.

I hope Dak gets extended because I know he gives the team the best chance of winning the Super Bowl. I just hope it’s a team friendly extension. Fix the running game and get a defense that can stop the run and he can easily lead this team to the Super Bowl.
QBs are more available now. Vet QBs get traded and become free agents now. Not like it was 20 years ago anymore.

Yes, we’ve already been over it and I’m not going to keep wasting time with it. This is the last time! The damage was already done in the first half of the 2021 playoff game at AT&T. They controlled the ball most of the second half. They had a 14 play drive in the 4th quarter that didn’t lead to points but ate up a lot of the clock. They pounded us in that game for 169 yards on the ground, winning the time of possession battle but you keep saying our defense did its job. In the 2022 game in SF, Dak lost that game. That was the worst playoff performance of his career. I’ve already said our defense played well enough to win that game. It’s our only playoff loss under Dak where the D played respectably. The 49ers won the battle in the trenches in both games. They’re too physical for the Cowboys.

Rush held down the fort for 5 games with a defense that was on pace to break the 84 Bears sack record and never gave up more than 17 points during those 5 wins. If you think he’s a long-term answer then you’re completely engulfed by your hatred for Dak.
Okay, hear me out.

You don't think that when your QB comes back after missing 5 games and throws INTs at a rate high enough to end the season leading the NFL that it has a negative effect on the defense?

Cooper Rush literally killed the narrative you and other Dak fans have that "If Dak can't do it nobody can" and you hate him for it.

Again you ignore the 5 drives Dallas possessed the ball and came away with a total of THREE points. The defense showed up in the second half, Dallas offense never got off the bus

It's a football game, our QB is supposed to respond to the other team scoring. He does the opposite especially in big games against better teams. It is what it is. It isn't rocket science. 8 years and he has gotten WORSE in big games. Who cares what the defense does? It's irrelevant to how bad his play is in these games.

You must be out of touch with the game if you think it’s going to be easy finding a QB that can consistently lead the Cowboys to the playoffs. We’ll never see the playoffs with a QB who isn’t productive and consistent during the regular season. QBs like that aren’t easy to find which is why so many teams are looking for QBs every offseason.
Again.

How can you say that and expect to be taken seriously when Cooper Rush is right there to spit in the face of this take?

He says kiss my 5-1 record with the roster you think only Dakky poo can win with.

This team isn’t winning a championship with Prescott.

Neither is Lamar. And he plays with a great defense on the other side.

Those two have playoff yips. It’s embedded.

Move on.

Who gives a crap about regular season trophies to only choke in the end.
What does Lamar have to do with Dak?? What about Allen and Herbert??

probably his best year. agreed.

let’s talk about him specifically vs GB. he went: 3 & out, INTERCEPTION, 3 & out, Pick Six.

on the first four possessions.

That’s worth 60 million a year, you know he did have 403 yards passing, old Rocky ready for garbage time and participation trophies. Sad that a few regular season wins is so many folks standard of excellence

Similarly, the Detroit Lions moved on from Matthew Stafford and were in the NFCCG 3 years later for the first time in franchise history.
This was Detroit's 2nd appearance to the NFCCG. They last went in 1992.

But the major point to take is that some teams aren't scared to move on from ineffective QB's like Jerry.

Watch the Cowboys reach a conference championship within 3 years of Dakky Poo being gone while his fans are left in shambles lololololololol
Watch the Cowboys continue to struggle no matter who's quarterback because Jerry continues to build the team in a dysfunctional way and keep us two or three players away from being true contenders

But we know for a fact that Dak isn't the answer. The funny thing about Rush was this team played more inspired football. They rallied around Rush like he was a breath of fresh air. I really think there are players on this team that are fed up with Dak
We don’t know that for a fact. No QB is going to be the answer with the playoff teams we have. We can’t run the ball, the defense sucks and we commit too many penalties. How is any QB going to overcome that? As for Rush they rallied around him because we were trying to save our season until Dak returned. Our defense played lights out! Our running game was better. Rush didn’t have to do much. He only threw 5 TD passes in 6 games. Our offense fell to 17th with him and we had very little passing game. We won with our kicker and defense. If you think the team will rally around him for a full season and he’ll be the one to get us over the hump you’re kidding yourself.
