1)There are enough Dak threads. Too many.
2)You sound arrogantly delusional.

You guys have done this. It's ya'lls fault.

I mean, there's pages on here of ya'll talking back and forth between each other about my opinion on things.

You guys have created a monster because ya'll care about every single thing I post.

Until he is somewhere around 15th he will be overpaid.

As long as he is getting paid top 10 money without having top 10 talent he is a burden on this roster.
And the only people who don’t think he’s top 10 are bozos like you.

NFL players, coaches and execs will be polled again this offseason, and each group will rank Dak in their top 10.... AGAIN.

You don’t know football.

Remember when many on here wanted to swap Dak for Carr?
Would you all complain about this contract if Carr was here?

I will post this comparison now, before all of you say NO, you would not whine...

So Derek Carr has signed a 3-year, $121.5M contract extension which puts him in the $40M per club.

Where is the outrage that he isn't worth that much like there was for Dak? Carr has played in only 1 playoff game which he lost and has a losing record for his career (57-70) with only 2 winning seasons in his 8 year career.

Dak is better in virtually every passing/QB category except sacks. His record over 6 years is 53-32 and a 1-3 record in the playoffs (so he's actually won a game).

I took that from somewhere else. Tear it down.

well folloing the illogic of a few here last year and as they argue, ...he was second highest paid QB last year and expectations were to be elite. now he is 7th paid (as predicted it would drop) and no longer in elite paid category, should expectations be for not elite level play.

I am sure everyone will say 160M is elite no matter what (moving goal post and changing logic of argument).....

Disclaimer: this doesn't mean I am saying its ok to play bad. this doesn't mean I think he is any good or not good. this doesn't mean I don't expect him to play well. the intent is to only follow up on the logic that was presented by many last year.
You are being nice...Just call Dak Hater's Idiots and move along. ANY Dak Hater's logic if extrapolated reveals regression in brain cells.

Dak Hater's can never understand Leadership from people they never been around.....Eye Test

the logic is that if you’re paid at the top you should be one of the top performers. the hope is that you’ll be a top performer and advance in the playoffs no matter what you’re paid. so no, there’s no alignment for sub par pay and sub par play anywhere but at the negotiations table

no one would be complaining if he was earning it or was any good. unfortunately we are paying top 10 money to a bottom 15 QB. it looks like we will never have an elite Defense because we have to keep allocating resources, cap and picks to surround him with elite talent for him in look credible only to still look horrible against good teams and pat his stats against the NFC East. if none of this was the case.. no one would be complaining.

You lost me at bottom 15 qb but it just proves my point that you guys will make Dak the problem regardless of how he's paid

@MountaineerCowboy will tell you to prove but will restrict you from their Profile history :lmao2:
He only has to go to page 3 of this thread to find what he is referring too, but I believe he's already done that, and is now trying to find a way to spin it as he most certainly saw that I did not say what he is claiming I said.

Yea , shame on me. I usually stay away from Dak threads. But I felt with Carrs signing and lowering Daks status with top paid contracts this was at least meant to be a more in the middle .

The closer Dak gets to 10th top paid the better his contract looks. Which is what some of us originally argued when we paid him.

So since most of the QB's being paid more than Dak are in the AFC, does that mean we can expect a second place f
Derek Carr just signed an extension worth 121.5 million for 3 years which will drop Dak down another spot to #7.

One thing I will say is that I absolutely do not like this continued escalation of QB salaries. This crap is getting out of hand and has been trending that way for a while. I know there is nothing that can be done about it now that the genie is out of the bottle but it's ruining the game I love to keep paying these guys ridiculous numbers whether they actually earn it or not. All these teams are having to unload other great players to pay the quarterback.. then watch the team not perform and scratch their heads as to why. It makes no sense and I hate it.. Period. Oh.. and get off my lawn!

Please, provide the quote where I said that Gruden and all made Carr not win.

I'll be waiting.

Did you see what the Raiders went through this season with Gruden, Ruggs, and so on? Dak struggles when things aren't perfect while Carr seems to thrive in it.

Basically blaming Gruden and Ruggs, however you are wrong saying Dak struggles and Carr thrives on it. Carr was not so perfect either.
