What's the forum record for locking a thread down with zero, count them, zero replies?

Dang, cowboys5. I think that you set a record. :lmao2:

Having a life will interfere in me answering every post of yours. Should I announce all my plans?

I'm going for a 10K run here in a bit...

I dont know about releasing TO...

I can see some good in doing it....but this team will take steps backwards in doing so IMHO.

But the end result could be the same in the next few seasons because IMHO there are just too many questions about this team other then the supposed distraction TO causes.

Being a run control offense requires horse up front and a QB that manages the game well and doesnt turn the ball over.....we dont have either....

This team doesnt have the makeup of the Championship teams of the 90's

We may have 3 talented Rb's but they arent Emmitt
Romo isnt Aikman.....and I still have questions about Romo's heart for this game.
and I hate to say this but Roy Williams isnt a legit number 1 WR.

so where does that leave us? Ball control...field position and a heavy dose on hoping our defense plays to their supposed talent.

Reminds me alot of Parcell days here.....play not to lose instead of trying to win....

Not yet, but soon.

Hey, you'll like this. I just got asked today to be a volunteer for that TV Show "Extreme Makeover Home Edition."

I'm going to wear my Cowboys hardhat.

Sounds like a trip. From what I've seen of that show, it's always for a very worthy cause. Curiously, they're not too anxious to re-do my place.: Did they pull your name out of bowl or something, or did you volunteer ahead of time?

what's up Mash? the Cowboys offense is like a computer and Owens is the virus that is causing it to not run properly. Jerry must scan the team and either quarantine or remove the virus to get it running(pun intended) smoothly again.

No, I know the local builder real well and he asked me if I would come help. I said it would be my privilege.

Thanks. I'd like to know about the family we're helping, but as of now I don't.

You would never hear me griping about going for Shanahan.

No matter who the coach is, TO has to either be gone or shut up. We will start winning again when he does. The more he talks, the more we're going to lose.

Terrell Owens shut up?

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

He's just getting started as a world class blogger...

I can't wait to read what he writes after Garrett takes the Detroit or Denver job. That's will be worth 37 threads on here at the minimum.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

And I agree with the plan Hos, but Jerry doesn't because it's not flashy enough for him.

He doesn't care. He doesn't read the posts. He just likes to hear himself talk while he's typing the words. Helps him pass the time, lol.

I have to be honest. This is kinda disturbing. Can I ask you one question? Please?

Just how the blue hell did you EVER confuse "cowboys5" with "5Countem5"?

That's it. Nothing else. PLEASE tell...

Was a simple mistake, Mr. Perfect... I apologize. Jeez.

I came back and saw that long response and then later you wrote that, made a bad assumption.

Madison, Wisconsin. If you've ever experienced a Wisconsin winter, you'd know why they fled.

BRAVO for your honesty ....

I wish more would admit that TO could win the SuperBowl and cure cancer as a Cowboy and they still would want him cut.

You can't stand him and that's fine. Stop hiding behind the "He's a distraction" foolishness and just keep stating it over and over and over again that you want him cut. Maybe someday, what you want will matter.

So are you on record as team chemistry does not matter. Forget distraction, that is probably the wrong word. I think the week of the Super Bowl there are going to be plenty of distractions. Distractions are a plenty.

Team chemistry. Not saying you agree that TO is not condusive to team chemistry, but I am asking if you believe there is such a thing and if there is, is it important?

I do belive in team chemistry and I do believe it is important.

I also believe that a team with TO on it will never have it. A team with TO may have it in the beginning which I would term a honeymoon period, but after that I believe he is disruptive.

I would definitely get rid of Owens. Not because he is a bad player, he isn't. Not by any wild stretch of the imagination.

Not because the fans and media are calling for it. Screw that. Who cares? I don't.

Not because it could drive Garrett or Sherman away. I'm the biggest Garrett shill on the forum. I have a serious agenda for him to be the next Head Coach.

There are three reasons why I would do this. Felix Jones, Marion Barber, and Tashard Choice.

I love ball control Offense. I love to pound the other team to death. I love to see the Defense getting rest while the Offense moves the chains.

Roy can be a #1, Austin #2, Crayton the #3. Witten is the best weapon in the passing attack anyway and Bennett could be utilized more.

The money saved could shore up the O-line which is badly needed. I'd like to spend on Defense so that they can be the attacking disruptive force I want. 59 sacks in 2008 was great, but they gave up too many points, too much yardage and wore down.

The payoff would be less distractions. Sorry Owens fans, but denying he is a distraction is wearing blinders. Guy is one hell of a football player, but he is high maintenance and what this team needs is a new focus. Ball control is the answer.

We'd still have some home run hitters with Roy, Austin and especially Felix.

We might score fewer points, in fact we probably would. But I'd trade that for a more focused, less distracted team that wins more and I think we'd win more in 2009 with Owens gone and a new focus on Offense.

It's just my opinion and you're free to disagree.

I agree with everything you say.

Dallas needs football players not drama queens, prima donnas, and celebrities. Owens is all three.

I also agree that Garrett is the best hope for the future. Sure he stumbled last year --all young coaches do -- but he's been around a winning program before so he knows what it's going to take to get Dallas back on top. Give him one more year with the offense and he'll do well.
