Been seeing rumors about Bayley today. Since she took the loss for her Damage Control faction during War Games yesterday, the rumor is that she will get kicked out of Damage Control, and the WWE will turn her into a babyface.

Thoughts?
I can see her getting booted out of Damage Control.

If they turn her into the hugging character again, ugh.

I think she’d get a sweeter deal with more money for less work in AEW. On the flip side, she wouldn’t get nearly as much attention and notoriety as in WWE.

It will be interesting to see what she’s really looking for.

AEW Estimated To Lose $34 Milliion In 2023

AEW Estimated To Lose Money In 2023

Estimates from Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics have suggested All Elite Wrestling will lose $34 million in 2023.
It has been estimated that AEW will generate approximately $154 million in net revenue this year, up from $100 million in 2022. The United States media rights deal with Warner Bros. Discovery will bring in a bulk of AEW's revenue, estimated to be around $68 million per year to air Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision, with the current deal believed to expire at the end of 2024. AEW brings in additional revenue from international TV deals with the likes of ITV in the United Kingdom and Eurosport in India to generate a further $7.8 million.

WWE's Charlotte Flair Out Of Action At Least Nine Months

That sucks for her as I saw her working to ‘give back’ lately, and helping to elevate other women. She’s always been among the very best women wrestlers in my opinion.

The silver lining is that it now opens up opportunities for the rest of the roster. I think NXT has several women who are ready for a main roster call-up.

And some call-ups that have been underutilized.

I’ve read that any prior plans with AEW have fallen through and that she’s ’looking for a lot of money’.

She may be in a tough spot.

Charlotte’s injury may actually benefit Sasha and aid in her return to WWE.

She has made that clear from the beginning. She wants paid.
Definitely.

And I feel that she’s a good performer looking for great money with a long history of overestimating her value and being more trouble than she’s worth.

At one point, she was among WWE’s Four Horsewomen and among that top echelon.

Now I think she’ll have more competition for that top spot (after the initial return fanfare).

I’m betting she comes to her senses now regarding her options and returns to WWE at the Rumble.

Management is much better under HHH and I see more people buying into the improved culture and working towards a common goal.

I read that she needs to have surgery to repair a torn ACL, a torn MCL, and a torn meniscus.
