Just finished Sniper Elite III, great game, lots of fun. If you played the 2nd one of PS3 or like sniping you will enjoy this game.

The actual gameplay is kind of meh compared to other FPS's, and the awesomeness of the XRAY Sniper shots fades kinda fast.

Still enjoyable to mess around with though. Had SE2 for the computer. Best part was unlocking the achievement "Kill Hitler in the Balls". And yes it entails exactly what you would imagine.

So I went to Gamestop the other day to add a few more games to my pre-order list. Well I put 5.00 on a few more games to begin paying them off.

Before Saturday I had the following on pre-order:

Destiny
Advanced Warfare
Batman
Dying Light

After Saturday I have the following:

The Last of Us
Battlefield Hardline Deluxe Edition (I dropped my Destiny pre-order and moved that money to this instead so now it's all but paid off)
The Evil Within
Dead Island
The Order 1886
Far Cry 4

Still to come to get on my pre-order list:

Evolve
Bloodborne
Fallout 4
Left 4 Dead 3
The Witcher 3

It's going to be a very extensive list of games coming out in the next several months that I'm going to be picking up.

I don't understand the point of pre-orders. For systems yes, but not games. Are you getting anything special for your pre-orders?

Good list bro and makes sense with delays towards Batman/Dying Light. I would be much more into Dynasty if it wasn't so similar to the MMO structure. I've always felt Battlefield was the best (military) FPS outside of story driven games like Bioshock, Metro and Far Cry 3. The good action rpgs are pretty time consuming and not due out until new years eve (?) so it would give you a chance not to become too backlogged. I have Battlefield, Assassins Creed Unity, and Far Cry 4 pre-ordered currently with more to add. I agree about the extensiveness of the games to be released, almost too much at once. Many "stay-cations" are in my future:D

Some games do include pre-order content but in general, nope (mostly accounting for your gaming budget). Gamestop does offer "better" trade in prices when you put your credit towards a pre-ordered game. I am doing it just to save myself the drive tbh but use to get Madden pre-owned in the late 90's when GS (or was it Electronic Boutique?) sold them at midnight and there was no guarantee that the game would be available at general department/electronic stores.

Some of them I've gotten posters or things like that which I've given to my kid.

A few of them have given me extra in game content at release that you can only get by pre-ordering.

I don't really care about any of that stuff though. I pre-order things because it allows me to pay them out through out the months and not have to go in and drop 60 dollars or whatever all at once.

For example on October 21st I'd have Battlefield Hardline, The Evil Within, and Evolve all coming out on the same day. Now if I don't pre-order them and pay them out between now and then that means I'm going in and dropping 180+ on 3 games if I get them all at release, which I wouldn't do at that point. By pre-ordering them I have them all paid out over 3-6 month period and I just go in, pick them up, and go about my business.

If you're up for it shoot me a PM with your PSN and I'll add you. I'm definitely always down for some new Battlefield partners. In fact that goes for anyone whose in the thread and plays PS4. Just shoot me a PM and I'd gladly add anyone who wants to play some games.

I'm absolutely looking forward to Hardline. The beta was fun as hell and I can't wait to see the final game.

On another note...what I wouldn't give for them to either re-release, or make the PS4 backwards compatible because I'd immediately add the entire Bioshock and Mass Effect Series to my collection.

Well, right when I am withdrawing big time from Destiny, my PS4 gets to play another gem. And one I've never experienced.

Let's see what all this crazy hype is about: The Last of Us Remastered.

It's been pretty good so far from what I've played of it. I'm enjoying it. Hows it going for you?

I also pre-ordered, with the money I had in my PSN account that was just sitting there, Diablo III for when it comes out in August. I'm looking forward to that game as well.

Diablo 3 on the PC was pretty solid. Not as good as the second though. There should be couch co-op for the new one. That would be the reason i'd invest in it.

I just got done playing Outlast on my x1. Pretty good game, I really enjoyed it

yeah, it took a while to get into it. Absolutely amazing game. One of the reasons I got a PS4 and it is ridiculously worth it. 60 FPS looks fantastic.

I haven't played in a few days now, I'll play some more this weekend, but the story had really begun to pick up, from the point I just stopped at, and I've enjoyed it very much. Definitely one of my favorite games to this point. I'm looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds.

I was skeptical about its so called "one of the all time greats" stuff I read about the game, but man that skepticism was definitely short-lived. The story just grabs you and I really enjoy the actual gameplay. Having no idea about it I started on Hard and it has been fantastic. Nice balance between tough difficulty and story enhancing moments. Must buy next-gen console experience for those of us who didn't have a PS3.

Some big announcements today. Looks like Rise of The Tomb Raider is going to be an Xbone/360 exclusive. It has caused part of the internetz to shutdown from the rabid fanboy flame wars lol.

Still....give me Bloodborne, The Order, and Uncharted 4 over Master Chief, Sunset Overdrive, and Lara Croft. Plus all of the exclusive Destiny content. I still may buy an Xbone eventually though as I'm sure Tomb Raider will be a great game.

Still think the Master Chief collection, and Halo 5 have much more replay value than the PS4 exclusives.

Bloodborne and The Order do look cool though.

So a random game called P.T. released exclusively on PSN today. The graphics are incredibly and absolutely mind-blowing , but everyone got stuck playing it......Until it was discovered to be a "Playable Trailer" that featured a brand new Silent Hill game creatively developed by Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro and it MIGHT be a PS4 exclusive with the main character being portrayed by Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead).

Just genius game marketing and an awesome counter-punch to the Tomb Raider announcement.

I'd definitely be really happy about a new Silent Hill game.

On a side note I've completed the first play through of The Last of Us and I'm half way through a 2nd one. Amazing game. I'll say this to save some others the time.

If you're a trophy guy, and love to try and platinum your games, then unless you want to play potentially 3 plays of the entire game then you need to play the game on Survival level first. You will have to play the game through a minimum of twice to get all the trophies because some of the trophies require you to beat the game in Plus mode. Which is basically the mode where you play back through but with all your upgrades on Joel and your weapons from the previous play through. (This is what you have to do to get about 5 or 6 trophies).

The key thing is that you can only play the plus mode on what level of difficulty you played on. For example I played the first time through on Normal mode (To make it easier to look for pendants and letters and comics and such). I thought if you beat it on any mode you could just play plus mode on any level after that.

So if you want to get all those trophies you have to beat it on Survival mode and then on Survival plus. As it stands I'm going to be making 4 plays cause I missed some of the collectibles on the first play through so I'm playing it on Normal plus to get those this time and then I'll have to play Survival and Survival plus.

I finished The Left Behind DLC and I'm halfway through on my second playthrough of the main game as well. I figured I would just go ahead and tackle Grounded so I could do a third playthrough on + and clear out the trophies. Grounded is surprisingly a breeze so far.

Another thing is that I am greatly enjoying the MP. I'm pretty average at it but my team does win most of the time. It has really added some fantastic replay value to a game already packed with it.

I will need to do Grounded and the DLC as well. This game has a lot of hours of play left on it for me. It's going to be tough to decide what to play between it, Diable III, and Battlefield 4 here real soon. Then right after that Destiny will be out and I still haven't finished Watch Dogs or played the Killzone story line or Imfamous Second Son at all yet. I've got lots and lots to play I just don't get to it all. lol

Anyone hear about the new PS4 update coming out ? Lets say i have Madden ( or other Co-OP game) . Well with the new update only one friend has to have the game. That means if I want to challenge a friend all i have to do is invite them , and they'll be able to play just like they own the game. Thats a game changer in my book. It'll save huge $$ if you have a close gaming group.
