Either way they have $66 million of dead cap. Whether they take the entire amount in 2024 or split it between 2024 and 2025. You can get a lot of players for that amount of CAP space.If Rodgers decides to call it a career, and I think that's likely, he'd probably inform the Jets FO and allow them to designate him a post June 1st Cut. He can then at least allow the Jets to reduce the cap hit later and he can just retire after that. It's been done before.
