QB Carter calls getting cut by Alouettes 'a joke'

I thought the funniest part was his quote the Montreal media,

"This is a joke ... an insult"

Someone needs to tell him: "Well, crankcase... yeah, it kinda was an insult. That doesn't mean that you have enough talent for the CFL though."

He would 1st have to serve a suspension and I doubt any team is going to start the season with a QB serving a suspension for drug use. Especially one who has not played a down for a while and just got booted from the CFL for what the coach claimed as performance related. "Someone had to go. He was the obvious choice. He had the lowest grades."

Yep... they in no way, shape, form, or fashion want to hear about Cranky. It's a constant reminder of how terribly wrong they were about him.

Frankly, I find it funny that they use drugs as the excuse for why he's in his current predicament. It wasn't drugs... the guy can't play a lick of QB. He isn't any good. What can they say to defend him? He thinks slow, but he's not accurate? He makes up his own plays during a game but they don't work?

There are no excuses for Crankcase anymore.

Not unless he goes back on his own words. I am sure now he might claim bipolar disorder as an ace up the sleeve. He denied drugs for quite a while, and eventually he had to come clean because he ran out of excuses. Next he will say his brain wasn't right. It is nothing but constant lies and delusion from this player and it is still happening. I don't understand how it could be viewed any other way.

Funny thing is... if Crankcase would've won a Grey Cup up in Canada, certain posters would be posting it here in The Zone forum without hesitation.

Eddie some of us have listened to the Carter boot lickers for a couple of years now about how Parcells and Jones did wrong by Carter and how fricken great he was while many others stated he is not that good. Another team just stated pretty much the same thing. If you don't like this thread then don't read it or respond to it.

Carter's day were numbered when they signed Green.....Green has been in the league for awhile now and was also a former starter.

The Al's did what I expected....and I dont blame Carter for complaining because he was never given a fair shot.......they signed him....and according to reports up here was a lock for as a backup.

But seeing how the Ottawa team was shutting it down...it spread alot of players around. Green was available and Montreal scooped him up...thus ending any fair chance Carter had......

IMHO....this has nothing to do with talent....all with numbers....you could of thrown.....Henson..Hutch.....Vinny there in the same situation and they all would of been cut

As long as Carter still has a grievance pending against the Cowboys, one could make an arugment that he's fair game on the main board.

Personally, I could care less about Carter. I was merely using this article to claim final victory once and for all against our good friend Kartr...as he has repeatedly stated that he'd rather have 'Crankcase' as our starting QB instead of Drew Bledsoe.



I would think this latest Quincy Carter episode closes the case on that debate.
