Quarterback Poll: Would you want Brett Favre as the starter in Dallas?

Hostile said:
The early results sure do back up what I said huh punching bag?

Don't be shocked. It only took the ability to read.

I could care less what these stupid polls say, I'm just glad Bledsoe is leading this team. I'm excited about the 2006 and don't care what the haters think! :starspin

Oh that's rich. 3 or 4 times you and your sheep talked about the 85% like it really mattered. Now because the poll isn't going the way you want it's a stupid poll.

Hypocrite alert.

Open your mouth and change your feet.

Just a little earlier tonight one of your sheep said my stance was iditoic for ignoring the poll and you responded with smiling and dancing smileys.

The truth hurts doesn't it Lambchop?

Bledsoe, Parcells, and JJ -- a 3-way match made in heaven.;)

And that folks is exactly why I begged him not to try and debate me to begin with.

In the face of overwhelming evidence he's still completely myopic.

Hos, a few years from now you might be gloating.....or you might look pretty stupid....the bottom line is that it's unfair to really compare a 37 year old, washed up Favre to a 34 year old Bledsoe who has a least a few years left.

But I already know that even if Drew finishes his career in the top 3 all time it's not going to matter to you. Even if he wins a championship, all the haters will be lined up with the "TEAM excuse' or "Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson also won a superbowl excuse"

The hardest of hardcore cowboy fans will never give Drew props.....

You know Hostile, just because YOU say the poll is invalid, don't make it so. The question implies the removal of Bledmaster and better than 5 out of every 6 cowboy fans want him to stay.

B4MVP, if Bledsoe plays well this coming year, I'll give him props, you have my word...

Whatever man, I'm not beefin or lambchoppin with you:laugh1:

I know in your eyes Bledsoe is and always will be nothing more than a mediorce hired gun....no matter what he does.

You are right, the drewpie is always wrong...Bledsoe's numbers are meaningless and he's the most overrated player in NFL history.

I'll be gloating.

Book it.

I'm not a hater. I'm a realist.

You're right, Drew in the top 3 all time statistically won't matter to me. I'll still tell you he was well below Aikman who isn't in the top 3 statistically. I'll still tell you that he's well below Montana who isn't in the top 3 statistically. I'll still tell you he's well below Staubach who isn't in the top 3 statistically.

It's about football knowledge. Actual knowledge of the game. Quoting stats doesn't show you have any. Especially when the ones you quote completely ignore the history of the game and its greats. That's a faux pas that only a select few chest thumpers make.

There are guys here who sneeze more football knowledge than a couple of people spout about. That's just a fact.

My point is made already.

This poll was invalid. The result was pre-written.

You might want to retract the idiotic statement huh?

Your point isnt made. Not by a long shot. Favre isnt even on the other poll.

Its clear that this poll here shows that the majority would take Bledsoe over Favre right now. That was what you were arguing. Now you have to backpedal and bring in other QBs when you fail miserably at this one.

Bledsoe > Favre now.

Favre > Bledsoe in years past ( but not as much as you seem to think ).

You fail. You lose. Give up.

Feel free to keep grasping at straws. Its rather funny to watch.

You can't read my mind Licorice, so don't try.

You haven't grasped my opinions of Bledsoe well enough to get beyond the lazy "hater" label.

Give up.

Hmnn, let's see, a sampling of 25 vs. a sampling of 323 (50 of which are you using your mod powers to vote for Favre over and over :p: ). Now it's been quite a number of years since I took statistics, but I'm pretty sure the punitity of the sample in the poll you linked renders it completely devoid of statistical relevance.

324 in 25 hours = 12.96 votes per hour.

27 in 1 hour = 27 votes per hour.

I'd say more than doubling the voting output, makes this poll far more relevant.

LOL....now nobody else is going to vote for bledsoe because they will be afraid of persecution since your showing the specific users.....nobody will want to be labeled a drewpie or associated with me. :laugh1: :lmao2:

I just cast my vote for Bledsavior. :pc:

Well, you'ld be wrong. In this case, frequency is irrelevant.

Your an older fan, and aikman and staubach are all time greats and lifetime cowboys.....wouldn't expect you to ever put bledsoe above them. But you can't ignore the FACT's....do you realize how hard it is to make it in the NFL for more than 3 or 4 years, regardless of what position. Bledstud is going into his 14th season.....that is the definition of longevity my friend, do you think the HOF commitee is going to worry about how many (or lack of) rings he has on his finger when it's time to retire his jersey? The man is one of the greatest QB's and professional athletes I've ever seen play during my lifetime, the game is about so much more than championships....I could sit here and lists 100's of bums who have a superbowl ring, even plenty of former cowboys....but it's pointless. You believe one thing, I believe another....

Regardless of my age, I have plenty of knowledge of the game of football, and I don't have to prove that to anybody here.....I've been on this board long enough and I'm well aware who the sheep are, and also who feeds them.

No it doesn't. This poll isn't Bledsoe or Favre. That's just a fact. This poll is abotu wanting Favre. Try and grasp simple logic here for one second. You can actually dislike Favre and Bledsoe as a QB option at the same time.

I maintained that this poll had a fixed outcome. You guys said it didn't.

http://dallascowboyszone.com/forums/poll.php?do=showresults&pollid=610

Argue with that. Where's the 85% you were touting and calling me idiotic for ignoring? Point it out to me bright boy.

Count Favre among the "other" group if you want. I could care less. Create a poll with 8 QBs, plus Favre and Bledsoe. Again, I don't care. I maintained that saying 85% of Cowboys fans want Bledsoe as their QB is a false statement. I made my point. Period.

I never said I'd take Favre over Bledsoe for 2006. I've pointed that out multiple times. Again, reading comprehension is required.

You guys can't even be two faced and look good. In truth I didn't even try very hard. I didn't have to.
