Question From a Commanders Fan

I don't recall Taylor ever getting trucked quite like Brian Dawkins did when he met Mike Sellars last season.

Taylor got blown up by Leon Washington his senior year at Miami. Leon Washington is 5'9'', 190.

1. TO has never had a big game aganist us.

2. I agree, he'll likely be a Cowboy again soon.

I didn't realize the Skins improved their secondary. How did that happen?

Is Adam Archuletta the upgrade? Didn't the skins cut a CB (Harris?) that was playing well during their winning streak.

I fail to see the upgrade. Maybe I'm missing something.

Oh my, Walt Harris was not playing well AT ALL. He was the very reason we lost the Tampa game during the regular season. I've never seen a corner give up so many completions in such a short period of games. Carlos Rogers is better, and Rogers still hasn't completely developed as a player.

Archuleta is an upgrade over Ryan Clark. Better hitter, slightly better in coverage.

since when could archuleta hit?THE GUY IS HORRID and i would appreciate if skins fans would stop bringing him up.

thanks

Not saying he cant be there, just that he isnt yet

Yes he can lay people out, but a lot like Roy early on, he whiffs sometimes and goes for the big hit too often and gives up big players, like the game winning TD to Crayton 2 years ago.

If you watch that play again, you'll see Taylor wasn't looking for a big hit. He was playing in a zone, and hesitated briefly because he saw Keyshawn get open over the middle of the field. That hesitation was all it took, cause Springs had already released him to Taylor which left Crayton wide open.

Yes, that's college athletics. Sean Taylor has been coached by Gregg Williams for two years now. He's become a better safety, hands down. I'm sure if we dug through Williams' college resume we'd find a play or two that would be a bit embarrasing, but it seems childish to do so.

That's great, one big hit. Amazing....

Let's ask Laverneous Coles, assuming he has recovered from the concussion, who the better hitter is: RW or Drive By?

We could ask him, but I don't believe Coles has ever played against Taylor, so I wouldn't imagine there'd be much comparison.

It's hard to respect these guys.

NONE of them had the courage to show up the last five years or so.....

To be fair I didn't get into the message board scene until this past year. I only joined the Commanders Message Board in November...

Coles has probably never been hit by Taylor. Furthermore, Taylor was a regular on 'Jacked Up' all season. He's definitely had more than "one big hit."

So, does this change the fact that TO has never had a big game aganist us, which is all I said?

Sorry.....

And I find it funny that the Skins will defend Taylor's getting beat by claiming he was in a zone, but they constantly rip Williams for getting beaten by Moss.

Aaron Glenn said after the game, that the last TD to Moss was on him. He made the mistake in coverage. Williams didn't have Moss on that one.

Honestly, I think it's silly that we're arguing who's better between Williams and Taylor.

Both are fine players. Skins fans probably would prefer Taylor because of his athleticism and coverage. Cowboy fans prefer Williams and his run defense and blitzing. He's also a bit better of a person and teammate.

Honestly, I'd take both......

But I think we can do better than Archuleta in the draft.

Are you guys serious though? Making Archuleta the highest paid safety ever?

Sure, if we still had Fred Smoot on the team. Lucky us, huh? Rogers has played better in one season than Smoot did in his first 3.

And Michael Irvin abused Darrell Green almost everytime they played, doesnt mean Green wasnt a great corner. Everyone has their Kryptonite.
