I understand what you are saying about a beatable heel champion but I'd settle just for a champion that shows up more than once a month and a handful of PPV's a year.

I would want the champion to appear more on free tv (although I don't watch RAW or Smackdown) but I don't want the champion to fight a lot on free tv. That is what I like about Brock's reign. He only fought in major PPVs which made his matches feel more special than it actually is.

If they can continue that with Rollins, he can appear on Raw and Smackdown, do run-ins on his threats, and wrestle occasionally. It's like Ric Flair, Hogan all over again when they were champions in the 80's.

I think the plan is still for Brock losing to Reigns at WM. It might change if Brock can't go back to MMA as expected.

Ugh. I'd even be down with a Roman reign...see what I did there? :)

Brock has been champ long enough & he rarely even wrestles. That chaps me!

Just read the Bushwhackers going to be inducted into the hall. I loved them as a kid, but man were they brutal as the Sheepherders.

Regarding NWO, I think the issue is that many of them weren't leaving to feud with NWO other than Savage and Nash. The NWO became too strong that no one in WCW were threats except DDP because all the threats were in some part of the NWO.

Also, I think WCW dropped the ball when Hall betrayed Nash. The Wolfpack version of Savage, Hall, Nash, Konnan, and Hennig as faces would of been great for the organization. Wonder if WCW didn't trust Hall with his drinking problem to where he can be a leader of a stable.

The nWo angle had long ran thin by that point.

WCW screwed up the nWo when they decided to try and make it into it's own separate company and started putting way to many freaking people in it.

It never should have been more than 4-5 members. The original three with maybe adding 1 or 2 key pieces later on to give them 5 people, tops.

The second they started coming out to the ring and there was 10-12 nWo guys coming out you knew the WCW had completely screwed up an extremely hot angle and that they were destined to kill it because of it.

After watching Fastlane last night I've come away with a few things that I think are brewing for Mania.

1) I believe Cena is actually about to do the heel turn that I know people have been dying for. I think he's going to wind up with the heel turn at Mania, even though it's going to have to happen while wrestling Rusev.

2) I believe Seth Rollins is going to lose a singles match to Orton at Mania but walk out of the show as the WWE Champion. I don't believe, at all, at this point that they're going to leave Mania with Reigns as the champion. I can't see Brock Lesnar winning, even if he winds up staying with the WWE, cause of his limited availability. Which, btw, I'm totally okay with I just wish he'd be able to be on a few more TV shows. I am loving the way they've booked him to only wrestle at PPV's where it gives him the big fight feel.

So with that said I think Reigns will beat Lesnar but Rollins will finally cash in his Money in the Bank contract and then defeat Reigns and walk out as the Champion. It's really to the point now where it's about the only thing they can do with Rollins and that contract match.

3) Daniel Bryan is going to be completely wasted at WrestleMania because with a clean loss last night they have nothing, at all, to follow up with going into Mania. So now he's going to win up in a thrown together deal just to get him on the WrestleMania card. Which is a darn shame. I could see him turning heel soon as well because it's pretty clear that Orton is now going to play a face roll in his return and with Ziggler becoming a more and more popular face, and Reigns going to be pushed as a face main event character, they're going to have to do something to get a few more of these guys as the heel.

It's Seth time!

He's always there. Hasn't been out for long periods of time like these other guys & just suddenly come back & gotten title shots. He's carried that stupid fake briefcase long enough.

And he can wrestle. He can get on the microphone & you wanna slap him.

Other than a naked tweet he's been a good company guy! :p

Great post. But I won't believe a heel turn for Cena until I see it. Chances of hitting the lotto are better. Interesting take on Rollins. Summer will be here before long so something needs to be done and I can see cashing in as you describe. We had a household conversation about Bryan last night and what his role will be in WM. It doesn't look promising I agree. He better not have a match with Kane or Big Slow.

It seems like one of you guys posted something a while back about Cena going bad & I think he said he wouldn't do that because of his kiddie following. I sort of remember that.

Of ALL the guys on that show he's the one guy that pretty much never changes since I've watched.

I actually don't think he'd be a good bad guy. His acting is limited.

No Oscar for him!

Today's rumors:
  • While Daniel Bryan won't be in the main event of WrestleMania 31, the good news (depending on perspective) is that it appears that match with Dolph Ziggler isn't dead after all.
  • Early word on the Bray Wyatt vs. Undertaker match is that it will be a Casket match.
  • WWE teased days ago that a tag team will be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year, to be announced today. According to PW Insider, that tag team is likely to be The Bushwhackers.
  • Speaking of the Hall of Fame, PW Insider also notes that Kevin Nash will be going into the Hall of Fame this year with Shawn Michaels doing the honors.

I hope they do a better job than Kane did in that casket match a few weeks ago where he actually had to roll into it & the TV caught that. That was awful.

The Bushwhackers? I don't even want to know what their characters were..that name has a life of its own.

Just watched RAW from last nite.

Good show. They are certainly teasing the Orton/Rollins thing. Kind of makes me think he will mess up Seth's cashing in thing.

LOVED the Sting stuff. I'm a total sucker for that Crow stuff he has going on.

And really guys Bray is the " new face of fear." Seriously? He's not intimidating at all anymore. Whatever mojo he had was lost when they ripped those guys away. He is a good wrestler but that's it. His gimmick is old & boring & if he's suppose to be scary that is an epic fail!

So I guess the Undertaker can still wrestle huh? They practically advertised he was coming back for that match.

I thought the show was pretty good. As usual though the women are a waste of 3 minutes! :D
