Toy Story 3 - 6/10

It was a cute story, but with all they hype surrounding it, I expected more. As far as animation goes, How to Train Your Dragon was much better IMO.

True Grit - 8.5/10

Very good....I admit I was expecting a little more, but it was well done, regardless. Jeff Bridges continues to impress me....I think he's showing he's one of the best actors of his generation.

Finally saw Inception.

I liked it. It's not a movie for everyone as it is complex and demands full attention to follow along.

For those who have seen it, I'd be interested to read your thoughts on the ending. Feel free to PM me to keep from posting spoilers.

my wife keeps renting movies. So I keep watching them!!

IN the past few days I have watched the social network, takers, the town, love happens and I just bought one of my favorite john hughes movies, some kind of wonderful.

My favorite out of all those is still some kind of wonderful.

I loved the town but because I watched the horrible movie takers the night before It ruined the bank robber angle a touch. The town was excellent though.

Social network was good.

I am getting ready to watch middle men in a few which I am really excited to watch.

Double-feature weekend for us. Two pretty good ones.

THe King's Speech --- 7/10.

The man who played the speech therapist was outstanding. He stole the show.

127 Hours ---- 7/10.

Good movie, but the documentary with Tom Brokaw and the real Aron Ralston on NBC Sunday night was better.

The Town: 8.5/10

I was surprised by this one. I thought it was pretty good.

127 Hours: 7/10

Not quite as good as I expected. Cast Away all over again.

Troll 2: 9.5/10

Superb acting. Great storyline. Just an absolute masterpiece.

What the hell is Adam Sandler thinking?

He is thinking that he gets paid a lot of money whether he makes a good movie or not.

For those that want to watch the Ralston/Brokaw documentary...

It has six parts at about 14-15 each.

I don't understand any part of that guy's appeal. I haven't even snickered at anything I've ever seen of him. I know the usual titles pop up when his name is mentioned, but he must either be the grandson of someone named 'Hollywood' or has some real dirt on someone who doesn't want it known. He just keeps churning out these movies or being in them or whatever and none of them are good.

--------

Over the weekend:

Inception: honestly couldn't say as I was pretty bored and fell asleep. But I'm always tired on Fridays...
Deliverance: 8/10. Everybody knows this movie and it's funny and disturbing and pretty darn good overall.

Catfish: 8/10

Humorously enough, Ariel (the brother of Niv) is a friend of mine. I play basketball with him once a week, and yet I didn't even see the movie till just last night. Whoops.

Anyone I thought it was great. To me, documentaries like this with awkward moments are worse than horror movies. There are so many cringe worthy scenes but in the end the movie is very fair to both sides.

Harold & Kumar Escape From Guanatanamo Bay (Unrated Version) 6/10

If you like non-pornographic t&a, this is the movie for you.
