but c'mon, if an opposing sniper is knocking out 3 guys around you, don't you think it's time to call in for some support?

I'm a huge LotRs fan. I loved the books and the movies, but I will say this. In Return of the King, the Frodo / Sam parts sucked in my opinion. (most of them anyhow) The other half of the movie was incredible. It's hard for me to watch Return of the King because of the Frodo / Sam parts of the movie. They were just to slow and boring most of the time.

Of all the movies, I think The Two Towers is the best from beginning to end.

Agreed...I normally skip chapters when the sam/frodo parts are on in that one.

So more troops can get killed. Bringing in more support in the middle of the desert where you don't know how many snipers are around is not a good idea. The only way I can that happening is if they bring in a plane or copter and just drop a bomb or shoot at where the snipers were hiding out at or have one of those bombs they used to test out in the desert.

Sherlock Holmes - 5/10

It wasn't a horrible movie but I was disappointed by it. Maybe it was the theatre I was in but through most of the movie you could barely hear what they were saying (though I've never had that issue with any other movie in this theatre) and it just seemed to drag on a lot.

That was a funny way to look at movies...from now on that's how I'm gonna approach reviewing movies.
Example:Braveheart...a guy who paints his face blue and gets chopped up at the end...pretty stupid.

You need to slap yourself for making such a horrible remark.

I still don't know what to think about this movie. I thought Downey and Law were good and the score was pretty good but there were times where I was bored out of my mind.

Thats some what how I felt. I thought they both did very good and it had its moments but the movie just bored me too much cause it just seemed like it went on and on and on.

I watched this thing on sniper from the History channel. oh brother a bunch of good stuff. Learned alot too, but i cant find a .tivo converter

Wow, I thought this was just a great movie. Maybe it was just the gravity of the subject matter, I don't know. I thought the performances were convincing and powerful and that the movie moved along at a perfect pace. Sure, maybe some of the issues in the film are over simplified or implausible, but I was willing to over look that. Totally recommended.
