Kickass 8/10 - Very good movie, loved it from start to finish.

The one scene I had a problem with was the night-vision scene in the warehouse where it suddenly turned into a first person shooter for no reason at all.

Great scene...and I hate first person shooters.

The scene to have an issue with is the one they just threw in the middle with the cop visiting Cage's character.

Batman and Robin - 1/10

The "1" is for Alicia Silverstone's looks, not her acting.

I can see why we had to wait so long for Begins. Simply horrible.
LOL I'd have to agree. The only good thing in that movie was Alicia Silverstone.

I'm posting this late and am not sure if it's still playing but you should go see Alice in Wonderland 3D. 5 of 5 stars. That's the future in entertainment. I love Lewis Carol's Alice in Wonderland.

Slumdog Millionaire 9.5/10 - really really good movie. I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would.

I posted a review a while back on this movie. The part where he exits the outhouse is gross. I wrote a paper on the disgusting factor of Slumdog Millionaire. I thought it was a great movie myself.

The Fog of War

I thought it was an exceptional documentary about McNamara and the Vietnam War. Some of the footage and more importantly, what was being said in the footage reminded a lot of what is being said today.

That scene was needed. It's called character introduction. That set up the last scene of the movie so you know who the guy is and how important he is to Hit Girl. Plus is was done well because you didn't know who the cop was at first.

Glad you enjoyed it. I've watched it several times with different friends and it's always a hit. I really need to get around to watching more of Errol Morris' work.

I thought it was obvious who he was at first with the comic book bit immediately before it. The problem is the fact that they made it needed just for that tiny bit of info for the end of the movie. Easily could have been changed to eliminate that scene. It's far too long for what it offers the story.

If you haven't seen it already, give 'The Thin Blue Line' a try.

AVATAR

I am literally awestruck by the visual impact of this film. See it on Blu-Ray if you possibly can.

9 1/2 out of 10.

Alice in Wonderland wasn't even shot for 3D and I didn't think it benefited much from it. They just made it 3D in post to cash in.

The only good 3D movie was Avatar b/c the entire movie was shot in 3D, all the 3D post production movies are horrible in 3D.

Avatar wasn't that much better in 3D than 2D either. And CG movies can be good damn good 3D. But yes, post production 3D is quite lame.
