Taken 7/10.
Good butt-kicking movie. I like vengence films sometimes.

Zach and Miri Make a Porno- 7/10- Typical Kevin Smith movie, not a ton of laughs but good dialogue and very watchable

They're not "my kids". They're my fiances' kids. They may be "mine" someday, but either way, Bob's joke is out of line, and coming from him, ironic....seeing as how he doesn't have the required equipment to make his own.

Pretty ****ing funny.
And can you imagine some filly allowing Bob around her kids...?? Yikes.

This ain't ovah!

Avatar 6/10
Weaksauce version of the Last Samurai bred with Pocahontas. Pretentious, Snobby, and Lacking originality. I was not really impressed by the effects.

Fantastic Mr Fox 6/10
Cute *kids* movie. Kinda dry. Nothing out of the ordinary storywise, but interesting cinematography. Watchable.

Defendor 7/10
Really liked some scenes. Really nice buildup. Movie is about a guy whose mentally slow, who thinks hes a superhero trying to hunt down a real arch criminal. I was getting tired of the Superhero movies and this superhero comedy is a nice change.

Where the Wild Things Are - 3/10. The character Judith summed up my thoughts on the movie very well during one scene, "I don't get it. Wait, yeah I do....it's stupid."

I thought it was a good movie -- now I know it was.

ChldsPlay -- Siskel
theogt -- Ebert

I will say that when I watched WTWTA. I just wanted to smack that little kid into next week.

Neither Siskel nor Ebert are doing too well these days.

I rented 2012 because it is supposed to be an FX dynamo and I want to see how it churned out through my LED and surround sound. Man, what a bad script!!! 1 out of 10 (0 out of 10 would be turning off the movie)

I heard it was bad (my BF's parents own it), so we thought it might be fun to watch it with Rifftrax to make it more entertaining. Alas, they have not created one for 2012 yet, but they've got one for avatar. Which we might do.

If you guys haven't seen any movies with rifftrax, you're missing some good stuff there :p

Me too....I wish they would have ate him.

Rob Zombie's Halloween II.

Single handedly buried the franchise.

Michael Myers is now a poor man's Jason Voorhees...go figure.

Can anyone make a good scary movie anymore without gratuitous amounts of gore?

Mmmm I'd say the first one burried the franchise. So stupid explaining the history with the kid.
