Most of the hacking stuff I have no idea about.

Like when he got the CIA guy to download a keylogger and then got him to change his password. That is how most of these hacks are done, through social engineering and finding weak employees.

Ted 2- 7 out 10

Some pretty funny parts and some cool cameos. I liked it overall the worst part is in the beginning with the stupid Broadway dance or whatever that was( not giving away an plot or spoilers either with that)

Jurassic World. - 6/10

I guess I'm getting too old to enjoy these types of movies more. There were just too many "eye roll" scenes for me to get into the movie. I know I have to check the believability at the door but some of the things the characters did (especially Claire) diminished my enjoyment because I know real people wouldn't act the way some of them did when dinosaurs are running amok. I will say I did enjoy Chris Pratt. He is one of my favorites and in this movie he delivers again. There were a few parts I did get a laugh but not as much thrill as I hoped. I kept trying to separate this movie from the original one, but I could not. The original movie had that magic that had me wanting to see more. I own the original and I'll still watch it and I'm sure I won't watch this movie again. I know I would probably enjoy this movie a lot more if I had never seen the original because everything would have been new. As it was it seemed everything was the same as the first but not as well done.

You mean you had to check believably at the door when you went to go see a movie about a dinosaur based theme park? Say it ain't so.

Saw two movies that were horrible marketed. Chappie and Kingsman: The Secret Service. They were completely different than what the trailers suggested.

Chappie: 8/10. It was a lot darker and sadder than I thought it would be. Good movie. It's intentional that the robot with AI is more compassionate and a better "person" than the humans.
Kingsman: 7/10. I thought this was some James Bond/Harry Potter kids movie for some reason. It couldn't have been further from that. A lot more gory James Bond type story. I thought it was pretty good. Some cool fight scenes and gadgets.

Jurassic World - 7 out of 10. Sidebar: Having an eleven year old is great. I will take him to movies like this just to watch his face light up with what is happening on screen. Movie itself was about what I expected, which was pretty entertaining, but made me feel a little like they were poking fun at themselves by finding a way to make that bigger dino to bring people to the movie while they were doing the same thing in the fictitious world. Good enough to watch, but not enough to own when it is released on digital.

Snowpiercer - A friend of mind kept telling me I got to watch this and so on.

I liked it but I think my friend hyped it up a little so that I thought I would have liked it better.

Still a decent movie though.

LOL...I knew someone would call me out on it. Yeah, it's a movie about dinosaurs, but my take is the same on how people would act in similar situations. Instead of dinosaurs it could be wild carnivore animals running rampant among tourists and the way some of the things played out just was too far fetched for me. As mentioned earlier, the woman is in high heels the whole time and she is going to outrun a T-Rex with only a 5 yard head start?

What's worse is the movie actually points out what kind of shoes she is wearing...then promptly ignores the fact. If you're going to live in a world of suspended disbelief, don't point out the realities you're brushing aside.

I liked Jurassic World for what it was but didn't get into the idea of creating dinosaurs that never existed. At least, have some archaeologist find some new fossils of an even angrier, meaner dinosaur and go from there.

Terminator: Genisys - 6/10. There's a lot I liked about this movie (a lot of tie backs to the first 2 movies, decent action, and of course having Arnold back). However, there's some pretty big flaws. The main one is that the story just doesn't make any sense (of course when you really think about it, none of them are on strong ground logically speaking). They just don't really explain the mechanics of what's going on with regards to time. I don't know if this is just because they're throwing crap against the wall and never had it thought out much, or if they just didn't spend enough effort making it clear. The acting is okay, though I think Clarke is capable of better. I didn't hate Courtney as much as I expected to (and usually do). J.K. Simmons is kind of wasted, but entertaining when there. The humor was sparse, and usually left to Arnold. The last thing that really bugged me was the helicopter scene (the whole thing, not how it ended), which was just completely ridiculous and unnecessary. It was an okay movie that didn't make much sense. I probably enjoyed it more than Jurassic World, but that was at least coherent, even if just as dumb.

I have the same 6/10 rating for Terminator Genisys.

The nostalgia of seeing Arnold back in his signature role was great and he was always enjoyable. I did not like the new Terminator and felt the role was poorly cast (along with most of the new roles). The effects were top notch too.

As for the questions in the story, from what I'm reading, this was written as a trilogy with some of those questions being gradually answered in future installments. But, based on early box-office returns, we may never see those follow-ups so the questions may never be answered.

In terms of the 5 Terminator films, I'd rate this one in 3rd place. Clearly not as good as the first two, but better than #'s 3 and 4.

Minions...

I thought it was cute.. I'm slow about these things, so I didn't get that it was a prequel until the end. It was ok for the kiddos. They enjoyed it more than I did. I hated seeing it in 3D. It had some cool effects, but I've come to realize that I just don't like 3D. It's just overrated to me.

7/10.

A nice comedic twist on the Bond movies. Samuel L. Jackson plays the meglomanic villain wanting to save the world by extremely drastic means. Colin Firth, Mark Strong, and the ever-incredible Michael Caine make up the perfect secret spy organization that opposes him. I think the action/fight scenes are a real strength of the movie while the Eggsy (the hero) home and tavern scenes weaken the movie's appeal somewhat. It is a English film working with sometimes strict English/United Kingdom dialogue and jokes. I would have enjoyed the movie more if I wasn't occasionally asking myself, "What the heck did they say?"

Side note: Mark Hamill is really REALLY aging badly.

Sequels lead me to rank them with the movie or movies that preceded them. For me, Terminator Genesys was loads better than Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines and eclipsed Terminator: Salvation but fell short of the original and lagged way WAY behind Terminator 2: Judgment Day--which is still the best of the bunch in my book.

Nobody beats Arnold Schwarzenegger's performance as a Terminator in the franchise. He set the standard. I liked how the movie did not shy away from his actual age and hide behind a lot of CGI--with the exception of integrating the original Terminator into the plot of course. Schwarzenegger did not have as many dialogue gems in this movie but there are a few good ones like, "Nice to see you. Get out."

Truthfully, Emilia Clarke was the main draw for me for buying a ticket. I think she did a good job playing an alternate version of Sarah Connor. Her role wasn't quite as hard-edged as Linda Hamilton's in T2 but she delivered more emotional range for the character. I actually thought Jai Courtney was the best casting of the main characters as Kyle Reese. He could have swapped places with Michael Beihn (sp?) in the original film and pull off the role just as well in my opinion.

The introduction of the O'Brien character was pretty good. J.K. Simmons' part was minor but he steals the show practically each time he's in front of the character. It may be just me but I remain apathetic to Jason Clarke's performances outside of Zero Dark Thirty. He seemed to sleepwalk through Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and I get the same vibe for his uber-Terminator in this picture. Robert Patrick's T-1000 from T2 remains the best non-Schwarzenegger Terminator in my eyes.

I thought the helicopter chase was pretty good. The scene that doesn't appeal as much for me was the school bus sequence. My imagination is very flexible compared to some but there are limits to how much inertia the human body can take.

Conan the Barbarian. Not the Arnold one but the newer one with Jason Mamoa(sp?)

I seen it a few years ago and remembered I did not like it but I also recall I watched it when I was feeling kind of bad due to a cold and sometimes when I watch a movie like that I don't give it a fair chance and have found sometimes that I watch the movie later when feeling better I liked it.

This one was still crappy and just a hot mess.

It had no magic or humor of the Original with Arnold and I would say that even as bad as the Arnold sequel was, it was still better than this one.

It was just a mess from start to finish. It had some decent ideas in it and some decent fight scenes but it was like it had way too many writers trying to do way too many things and it just was fragmented from start to finish.

Even though you would imagine they had a decent sized budget, this movie was so bad that it kind of resembled the low budget messes they have as originals on the SYFY channel.

It's a shame because that would have been a good action franchise to reboot if they would have done a good job with it.

It's a real shame, waiting for someone to do right by that character. I was al;ways a fan of Robert E Howard's stories.
I really think something in the style of the movie "300" would work well, but really got to have a better script and someone that understands the character.
