They do but they are not technically zombies.

I think some call them ragers similar to the crazy people in the Serenity/fire fly series/movie.

Virus strikes them and they just go off into blind rage killing and eating people.

Kind of like a rabies deal? Sounds like what they did in World War Z. An OK movie, essentially set up around a few visually-stunning CGI scenes of thousands of zombies.

Unbreakable (2000). 8/10 I was 17 when this came out, and wasn't a big fan. I haven't seen it since then. I watched it again today and liked it a lot.

Have you seen Split?
Yeah. I thought it was OK. The previews pretty much told you the story. I liked the cameo by Bruce Willis at the end, kind of ties the film together. I wonder if they will do a film with both characters in it later on down the road.

Suicide Squad - 4/10

Gripes:

-The actor who portrayed Rick Flag [Joel Kinnaman] just felt like a huge miscast.

-I don't get Hollywood's fascination with Cara Delevingne. She's not a good actress.

-I had hope for Leto's joker, but it just didn't work in my opinion.

-The story was sloppily put together. You got absolutely no sense of an actual timeline of
events that set the story, and a lot of things just kind of happened to get to the next scene.

- Once again, it felt like DC just doesn't have the patience to put together a tactful DC universe... "Here's The Flash in a cameo. We haven't introduced him yet, but you guys know who he is, right? Why is he in Australia stopping a petty bank robbery and then later nowhere to be found when an actual crisis is happening, you ask? Who cares?! MOVIE!"

While this movie was pretty stupid, it was still fun at times and loads better than Batman v Superman.

.

He wasn't in Australia. Waller clearly states that Captain Boomerang had moved his operations to the U.S.. With Flash it doesn't matter where he is anyway. He is so fast he can be anywhere in the globe in seconds. Yes, I do know who the Flash is. I don't need to be introduced to every single character. I don't understand that particular criticism. Others I get, but I got no problems with how they introduce characters.

Ah okay, I must have missed that excerpt about moving operations to America.

My point wasn't solely hindered around the location of the bank robbery.

It was more about how The Flash clearly intervenes for a bank robbery but doesn't intervene for an actual crisis. Like you said, he can be anywhere in a matter of seconds.

And yeah, while I know who the Flash is, I don't know who this Flash is.

It just seems impatient to me. But I understand why it wouldn't bother some.

Yeah, it was horrible. Decent cast, but the script was terrible and lame.

Yeah overall good performances from Smith, Robbie and Viola Davis. I actually thought Leto did a great job of bringing his joker to life, too. But his version of the joker just seems like a weird fit for what is, still, a comic book movie.

The first half of the movie, when they were introducing the characters wasn't that bad, but then it just followed same boring liner tract we've seen a thousand times before.

Moonlight 1/10

Boring and pointless.

Can't wait to watch the blu-ray that came from Netflix yesterday (Not really. It doesn't look very interesting to me, but I watch almost every major release, and it won best picture, so...).

That was my feeling when I saw it the first time. Then I saw the extended version at home, and the editing seemed really out of sync (more than the theatrical version). The beginning felt sloppy, and then the movie got better when it settled down into the main plot (which still isn't edited all that great).

Finally saw Manchester By the Sea. 6/10 Great acting all around, but I wasn't a big fan of the movie.
