23.
About to capture his 2nd rush title.
Leading league in scrimmage yards.
5247 total yards in 2 and a half seasons.
And he doesn’t whine about opportunity like some other high profile nfc east players

I reallt think the "needs great protection" assertion has been disproven. He's had to deal with less than average protection this season and has risen to the occasion. And even with Zeke's ability to block as an RB it doesnt provide to much value to the team.

I'll never side with paying a franchise RB over franchise QB. Not in today's NFL

If you dont have a Mahones, then the key to your offense is going to be a dominant Oline. Then you can have second tier RB's and QB's and still have a good offense.

Hmmmmm against the Cardinals, the worst rush defense in the league, that gives up 153 yds/game to the run. I'm sure the Rams will rush to trade Gurley in the off-season and keep CJ. Tevin Coleman just put 145 rushing yards on the Cards the week before too, but has only broken 50 yards rushing prior to that game.

In the Rams and Cardinals first matchup Gurley had 42 rushing yards on only one less attempt than what Anderson had Sunday :hammer:

Been seeing a lot of talk about the upcoming decision of what we do with Dak...and rightfully so, as I feel like he’s been incredibly inconsistent but that is another conversation.

What about Zeke? Obviously this dude is the heart and soul of our O. I was on record saying we should’ve drafted Ramsey due to how easy it is to draft serviceable RBs. Not saying we made the wrong decision bc Zeke has been stelllar... but look around the league...

Steelers
Chargers
Chiefs
Etc...

Key RBs go down and life goes on...

Not saying don’t pay the dude, but I think it’s a serious question to be considered whether or not we make him the highest paid RB in the league moving forward at the expense of paying other guys on the team.
Without those teams having Big Ben Patrick mahomes or Phillip rivers I think they wouldn’t be so good at running the football if we had r smith taking 300 touches we would be 5-11

Fresh legs in Week 16 can be deceiving
Exactly.
Don't pay big money or spend premium picks.

Just sign street FAs every other week and get the same or better production!

But the fresh legs argument doesnt really matter in the graphic I quoted. Gurley didnt achieve that all season long. Beginning when he had fresh legs, middle, or end.

O boy I hate this.

I said when Dez began leaping in the air his body would break down after a couple years and he'd no longer be able to do it.
Well, I love Zeke but his body will not take the pounding he absorbs game after game. IMO he has 2-3 years of effectiveness left.
Honestly I'd trade him next year at about week six and pocket a #1.
I think if used correctly you can do well with 2 small fast/quick guys and a bruiser for next to nothing.

again, I love Zeke.

and 3 rushing TDs......... Goff also threw for over 350 yds, don't know, how much they really needed Gurley to run that game, except to punch in TDs of course. Using a couple games doesn't prove a point, that would be like saying Derrick Henry's performance in weeks 14 and 15 prove he's the best RB in the league or the Seahawks could win without Wislon at QB since he's only thrown for 300 yds once all year.

That's one thing about cherry picking stats, but cherry picking, cherry picked stats is another.

It's not one cherry picked stat lmao

We were referencing yards.

CJ also had a TD and a carry down to the 1 yard line lol

Its very easy to determine how much they needed Gurley. They needed him one less carry than CJ

What are you talking about????

Gurley has 208 yds Week 6

Street FAs are on the street for a reason

You want elite production year after year you need to draft them early....period

Tell me why youve stated twice now that Gurley had 208 yards in week 6 and how it pertains to the conversation?

Who the hell cares? Stops blabbing
