You need to read eduncan22 more often. He is the guru on Stanback's speed, abilities, potential and zodiac sign.thewireman;2024758 said:I thought Stanback was faster than that?

STSINAZ;2024790 said:just going off the track record, thats all...if you look at all of this you know its a possbility that my first scenario happens...i hope it doesnt...i will tell you this...if jerry drafts right where we are at, and doesnt reach for players but picks players that he should I will be amazed! Especially because I think Lacewell has been in his ear for a while now...jerry is just not GM material...sure he can make a few good moves but after he:
traded 2 first rounders for Joey Galloway
drafted Shante Carver and Ekuban in the first round
traded up to get Quincy Carter and Tony Dixon
drafted 3 or 4 sorry corners that no longer play in the NFL in one draft
passed on Kendrell Bell to get quincy
hired lacewell - someone who didnt even know who Charles Haley was! lol
followed what the guy said for years!
gave an 11 million dollar signing bonus to a guy with a bad shoulder - roy williams
gave 9 or 10 mill up front to henry ferguson and rivera - all of whom didnt do much for us due to injuries! 2 of them close to or over 30!
and there are several other things he has done that most gm's wouldnt...thats a track record

they plan on drafting a few players, trading a few and signing a few
FuzzyLumpkins;2024804 said:Roy williams was a perennial pro bowler when he signed tht deal. he went in the toilet after tha and wth is this about his shoulder. same with rivera he got hurt.
Ekuban was a good pick he just tore his knee up and never recovered. he has still been a solid pro in denver. same with ferg he got hurt.
henry was signed to a very moderate deal for a CB and has started for us every year.
Ferg was our best linemen in 2006 and its funny how you lay this on JJ when it was so clearly a Parcells move.
As for the rest that was a decade ago. You also leave out the signings of Glover, Hamlin, TO, Romo, BIGG, ,kosier Columbo, Thomas, Ayodele and the drafts since 2002 that have landed us Roy Tnew, Barber, Canty, Ratliff, Ware, James, Gurode, Witten, and so forth.
No GM is perfect but considering only the bad and ignoring all the recent success is worthless.

I think the observation was correct. I've seen the guy run while at Washington and evey report from Camp was that his speed would just make jaws drop. I wish he had been healthy and we could have sene more from him. It is what it is though. Ireland was sure wowed by him, and so were the other scouts. I doubt that was all about his tattoos.Bach;2024795 said:And how do we know this?
forgot to add Stanback's inseam measurement.Hostile;2024766 said:He is the guru on Stanback's speed, abilities, potential and zodiac sign.
