Actually that was LeCharles Bentley.

And no, we cut Tyson last year.

adbutcher,

Thanks for that post. Carl Banks is a very smart guy who knows more about the inner workings of a team than ANY of us will ever know. He makes some very good points.

I had someone point out to me recently, that all you have to do is watch where the FAs are visiting to see what players around the league think of the Eagles organization. They are having a difficult time getting players to give them a look because they now have a reputation of not treating players the right way.

I'm not defending T.O. at all, but you can bet there were a lot of Eagle players privately siding with T.O. in his battle with McNabb and agreeing that McNabb is a fraud and a hypocrite who is not a true leader at all.

Good points all. While I would rather not see TO on our team, there is no denying that he is one of the 3 best (if not the best) WR in the game today. If he becomes a Dallas Cowboy he will have my full support and I will hope like hell that he has a positive impact on the team. More than faith in TO, I have faith in BP and JJ that they would not bring TO here if they felt they could not control him and get the best out of him.

So i say, BP and JJ, it's in your hands. i will back whatever you decide and hope for the best.

PS: we can already see Commander fans on this board p**ing in their pants at the prospect of TO being a cowboy. THis should be interesting.

One thing I will say. If TO does screw up here and causes trouble, get cut because of behavior. His days in the NFL are probably over. This is his last chance.

So maybe that will help.

nope won't happen.. if he can play there will be another knucklehead out there willing to bend over and drop their draws

Actually IIRC he was pissed that there was no mention of it all, even on the scoreboard.

And does anyone think Jerry is going to have a problem throwing a massive party if TO gets his 200th TD or whatever? He lives for that crap.

I really think the key to controlling TO will be just as much Jerry as Bill, for just that reason.

Perhaps and while some try to paint it as poor little TO... They fail to realize that he had signed a legally binding document and no one put a gun to his head to do it...

In fact he was advised against signing it but did it anyway...

But shhhhh don't tell them that it will mess up their rant...

Oh and also don't tell them he started causing problems WAY before he ever signed with the eagles

Mods: can we sticky this nickname from adbutcher's original post, and then change the forum posting guidelines so that people need to always refer to Andy Reid this way in the future? Thanks.

There has always been, and there will always be, two sides to every story. Unfortunately we as fans are privy only to that the media chooses to tell us.

We all know which side ESPN will take when speaking of the 49s. In Philly...McFlabb seems to alway get the benefit of the doubt.....just my opinion.

Zaxor you seem to be a reasonable poster and I tend to agree witha lot what you say so I pose the same question to you I posed to others were these teams he destroyed not allready flawed and if not how does one man destroy an entire team, is TO the antichrist and is spellbinding in his ability to turn people against each other.

Bingo and I'm certainly not a T.O. apologist, (despite my temp. sig. It's just in fun during all this T.O. mania).

Neither am I, as for now, I'm willing to give TO the benefit of the doubt.

Bottomline: If Parcells can't keep him check......then no one can.;)

That's it. I call Parcells "the Horse Whisperer". :)

If he bucks Parcells and causes major distractions for our organization, he's out of the league.

Great post.

I agree completely about McNabb. He plays the damsel in distress role to the hilt and that's one of the reasons I don't care for him nor the media that falls all over him as has done after Rush Limbugh.
