Lets stop ripping on Greg .
Alexander said:If he agrees to stop going on the radio and talking about "commitments" and attempting to attract attention to himself like an insecure 10-year old, you have yourself a deal.
Doomsday101 said:Yet you don't say anything about TO going on and on about McNabb in interview after interview like some little 10 year old who got into a fight with the kid next door.
Alexander said:No, I wish T.O. would shut up and play also.
Doomsday101 said:But you don't come down on him as you have Ellis.

2much2soon said:Ellis was insecure about going from a 4-3 to a 3-4 end last year. And he did fairly well considering he doesn't have the prototype size for a 3-4 end.
I don't think he has the mobility to cover the elite TEs from a LB position but I think that can be schemed around with help from one of the safeties if teams try to exploit Ellis in the passing game.
f? That is a tough question. I appreciate Bill and what he has tried to do here, but I am not a huge risk taker so I would rather do something that I am familiar with. This has been my toughest training camp ever.
Alexander said:An above average pass rusher will always have a job in the NFL. Even the mediocre ones still do based off their past history. Look at Marcellus Wiley. And as for the Kenard Lang example, he wasn't walking the streets like Freddie Mitchell, Denver snatched him right up. And I am sure if we cut Ellis next year, Denver would be there to collect our scraps just like they have for Ekuban and the rest of them.
wileedog said:TO is a jackarse. No one has ever said otherwise.
Is your argument that now Ellis is one too?
diamond cutter said:I didn't say that Greg wouldn't find a position some where, but what would his contract be?
Alexander said:No, no, no.
He is DOOMED, I say, DOOMED.
DOOMED to become the next Kenard Lang!
DOOMED!
Unless of course he got a "commitment". Then he might not be so doomed.
Alexander said:So?
Owens is more talented. And has the potential to make this team a champion. You treat your stars differently.

My hat is off to him, as always.
It's guys like Greg that should be given the healthy bonuses and recognition; not T.O.'s.

- I don't want to be embarrassed on TV. I don't want to let the team down. If we lose a game because of me I would have a hard time dealing with that.
Doomsday101 said:No I said Ellis would handle his situation much better than TO handle his and that is a fact. Ellis is not telling BP to shut up or don't talk to me. Ellis has come out listened and done what is being asked of him, Cowboys are not having to send him home. Ellis was asked a question by the media and he answered them he and has done so without trashing others in the process. It is how you handle yourself that does matter some do it as professional other as the punk they are.
