lol @ 'that would be very difficult for any GM to have the team in the good position that they are in today'. In reality, it is practically impossible for practically any general manager to have a quality team in the position they are in right now SINCE they are not general managers for life.Yep, that's what I said. I'll throw in that would be very difficult for any gm to have the team in the good position that they are in today. Building off of the last 2 season with a good future on the horizon. At least that 's what it looks like.
It’s really amazing we still have any fans left who defend our current ownership .Yea he gave us 5 great years and 27 mediocre ones. Yea us.
and the NFC Championship level is the only thing that really matters. The rest is window dressing. You would think we'd be able to stumble into one by now. I actually thought last year maybe....but no.His wins/losses will still compare with most in the NFC over that time up to the NFC Championship level.
It amazes me that some fans expect us to kiss the ground that Jerry walks on for hiring Jimmy Johnson 30 some years ago. And then expect us to ignore the last 27.It’s really amazing we still have any fans left who defend our current ownership .
Go visit the headquarters sometime. It’s really amazing we still have any fans left who defend our current ownership .
Perhaps @Bobhaze will consider editing his thread title to 'Remember some folks do think like Jerry'. YEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAW!Less some forget...here and now: Beat Big Blue in New York, game #1!!!!!
I understand our young fans in this generation wanting to believe in the current situation but surely our older fans from the last couple generations see thru our ownership futilities this era.and the NFC Championship level is the only thing that really matters. The rest is window dressing. You would think we'd be able to stumble into one by now. I actually thought last year maybe....but no.
I’ve been to all of them from Frisco to Valley Ranch and the old Playboy building in Dallas.Go visit the headquarters sometime.
I still can't find it in myself to sell my soul as a fan because I know and have experienced top shelf winning with my team...but no, this fan won't allow himself to feel cheated by a whole group of men giving all of their heart and me rooting for them to give their best. Sorry, I love team and the sport too much for that!and the NFC Championship level is the only thing that really matters. The rest is window dressing. You would think we'd be able to stumble into one by now. I actually thought last year maybe....but no.
Jerry didn't have a single thing given to him...I'm not insulting that dignity for what he did not give to me as a fan. HOOOOOOOOOOOAH!!Perhaps @Bobhaze will consider editing his thread title to 'Remember some folks do think like Jerry'. YEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAW!
And you actually believe that represents the Jones era is greater than the Murchison era?Jerry didn't have a single thing given to him...I'm not insulting that dignity for what he did not give to me as a fan. HOOOOOOOOOOOAH!!
There are three trophies with this owner and two with Murchison.
Sweet! Pretty impressive don't you think? Did you ever go to the old practice facility in North Dallas back in the Landry days?I’ve been to all of them from Frisco to Valley Ranch and the old Playboy building in Dallas.
I’m always taken aback by Cowboy fans who support this ownership.Perhaps @Bobhaze will consider editing his thread title to 'Remember some folks do think like Jerry'. YEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAW!
Lol, they aren't mediocre now. Enjoy the ride.Yea he gave us 5 great years and 27 mediocre ones. Yea us.
Hang in there, and don't cry. Remember the words of Duane Thomas.and the NFC Championship level is the only thing that really matters. The rest is window dressing. You would think we'd be able to stumble into one by now. I actually thought last year maybe....but no.
Yes , our facilities are state of the art. That doesn’t give our owner a pass for his record this era or how he runs Cowboys Football.Sweet! Pretty impressive don't you think? Did you ever go to the old practice facility in North Dallas back in the Landry days?
He pretty much saved the franchise. Totally turned it around and built the amazing valuable franchise that we have today.Yea he gave us 5 great years and 27 mediocre ones. Yea us.
Sweet! I hope they win this year and you enjoy the season. You are a night owl for an old fellow.Yes , our facilities are state of the art. That doesn’t give our owner a pass for his record this era or how he runs Cowboys Football.
Cowboys moved to Valley Ranch while Landry was there . I don’t recall going to an older practice facility . I have been to most of the training camp sites as well .
I was also a season ticket holder for about 4 decades , part of the initial group who attended road games with the Dallas Cowboys Travel Club this ownership established where met the ownership , players and coaches,
I’m sure Dr Jerry Buss and or Don Carter who had higher bids could have continued the franchise as well.He pretty much saved the franchise. Totally turned it around and built the amazing valuable franchise that we have today.
