He was with the team in 2008 so try 9-7. We regressed from our 13-3 record, finished 3rd in the East and missed the playoffs after having the number one seed the year before.

No parallel necessarily intended.

You can't blame that season on Tank or Pacman. Romo and Felix got hurt in the Arizona game not to mention Mat Mcbriar. Brad Johnson had to play and Dallas didn't have the explosive plays from Felix anymore when he went on IR.

We were 8-4 going into December when the Swoon hit us again. Pittsburgh and Baltimore were heartbreaking losses and the Philadelphia game was a joke.

It amazes me how many of you want horrible human beings on this team. Child abusers, woman abusers, thieves, druggies, WOW!!!! No thank you!!!

If it was any other team that signed him people here would be in an uprorar. "how could they sign that piece of garbage"

Not Dallas. We only have RKG

It's a fine line. You have Dez as your avatar. He's been accused of DV and other transgressions. But there is always your side, their side and then the truth.

Dez was never charged with beating a woman, abusing a child, or stealing cologne . Very bad comparison. Are you justifying AD, he admitted to beating a child? Hardy will be convicted as well. Randle was caught red handed.

Dez was accused of slapping his mother, but that was never proved
AD whooped his kid, that is all
Hardy has a good chance of being acquitted
Randle has only been accused this time but is knucklehead for the theft

The point is things have to play out before you make your final judgements. And to a certain degree it's really just easier to overlook a lot of things or you may have to just give up on sports or movies or politics.

Is is a 6 game suspension if he is acquitted? I don't see the Cowboy signing him if he is convicted.

It's a big if... but I doubt he would get 6 games if acquitted. I can still see Goddell giving him something, but 6 games would seem excessive. I don't really know any details, you actually think he has a shot to be found not guilty?

I said I was drawing no parallel between them and the record. I was merely correcting the answer her gave. However, since you brought that stuff up we also dropped from 13th in defense in 2007 to 20th in 2008 (the side of the ball those two played on).

He has already missed 17 games; although, he did get paid. It's hard to imaging that 17 games is not enough if he was acquitted. Even if convicted, 17 games is substantial.

They could just fine him.

The Cowboys had a Clown Coach in 2008 that instilled Zero discipline in the team.

If you think "whooping" is all there was to that garbage, why am I wasting my time with you. I can give you that the that the Hardy trial hasn't happened yet, and perhaps say OK, that Randle hasn't wrapped up his court appearances yet. But, AD beat a four year old kid until he was bleeding on his head, legs, and arms. That's not a "whooping" and anyone who thinks it is , is a sick freak!!! I've given my fair shares of "whoopings". They never involved blood, or stuffing a four year olds mouth with leaves to get him to stop crying!!!!

Didn't he hit his mom

They didn't just fine AP though and they were both on the same exempt list. I could see him getting 2 games, maybe even 4. Or you could right and he only gets a fine. It's a slippery slope either way though

Whether you are done with me or not has absolutely no impact on me. I'm not looking for your approval. You made a comment that I found hypocritical considering you are a Dez fan and I responded. I don't think AD did anything criminal and a lot more people agree with me.

How do you not think what he did was criminal? Should I post the pics?

I hate to say it, but right now I feel like I'd let Jeffrey Dalmer play DE if he could get double digit sacks and help us get a Super Bowl.

Winning is all that matters. You might not respect them but if they help you raise the lombardi trophy everyone is all for it. So 1 Greg Hardy pls

You can have both, performance and character. The point about Hardy is that he certainly has the performance and the character mark against him will be decided at trial this week. If it turns out he really was the target of a psycho/golddigger who did nothing wrong, there is no reason whatsoever to avoid signing him.

Oh I hear you and do not completely disagree. Again I am not blaming them for the record, I was just correcting an error. However they ended up releasing Jones immediately following the announcement of an off the field allegation in January after the season ended. Didn't even give him the chance to let the situation play out. Not sure how that fits the zero discipline statement.

I disagree. If anything it is 50-50, but I think a majority of people lean toward Peterson's actions being criminal. Peterson and his law team probably saw it that way as well, which prompted them to accept a plea deal rather than taking their chances of fighting the charges.
