Yes, he got paid, but he was not allowed to play. Whatever you want to call it, there were 17 games that he missed. Would they force him to miss more games if he is acquitted? They could just fine him or they could say that 17 games missed is a sufficient penalty.

If he's acquitted, he won't be punished any further, if you call collecting millions while not working being punished. If he's convicted, there would be additional punishment, as well as a fine.

Dez was never charged with beating a woman, abusing a child, or stealing cologne . Very bad comparison. Are you justifying AD, he admitted to beating a child? Hardy will be convicted as well. Randle was caught red handed.

Dez was accused of hitting his mother. But after when all the smoke cleared it was nothing more than a normal argument within family members.

Don't be too sure that Hardy will be convicted. The judge was biased and didn't even put the burden of proof on his ex-girlfriend. His ex-friend accused him of atrocious beatings but there was not even a scratch of her except for a broken toenail which happened when she kicked his car. Basically Hardy is a big man and a pro athlete - if she was beaten up so badly, where were all her scratches?

I'm not saying he is innocent. But he maybe innocent because he's ex is known to be a gold digger and have already filed reports on other cases not related to Hardy. The judge was also biased against Hardy and didn't require her to prove her case and just to her accusations against him as evidence.

There are cases like this all the time where women try to extort money from rich people like Hardy. He already broke up with her and I found it fishy she all of a sudden appeared in his life once he got a big contract from the Panthers.

With Hardy is all comes down to him getting acquitted or not. If he is, he would be my #1 target in free agency. The impact he would have with the production he would bring, plus the other roster upgrades this offseason would turn this defense into a championship contending defense.

I wonder why kind of money he is looking for if he is acquitted. This is situation where I really wish Marinelli had a history with this player similar to Melton.

I couldn't disagree more.

I think that is something that comes with age. To me if you have a daughter it becomes impossible to root for a player like Greg Hardy given what he was willing to do to a woman.

If you think "whooping" is all there was to that garbage, why am I wasting my time with you. I can give you that the that the Hardy trial hasn't happened yet, and perhaps say OK, that Randle hasn't wrapped up his court appearances yet. But, AD beat a four year old kid until he was bleeding on his head, legs, and arms. That's not a "whooping" and anyone who thinks it is , is a sick freak!!! I've given my fair shares of "whoopings". They never involved blood, or stuffing a four year olds mouth with leaves to get him to stop crying!!!!

this is where you and I 100% agree

He was found guilty by a judge in court. Now he will have an appeal heard by a jury.

-The article I read the judge accepted the complainants case without a lot of
examination. in that article it disclosed Hardy's dialog with 911 asking for help
and that she was hitting him please come. How valid all that is,I have no idea.

He was found guilty of assaulting and threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend. I see nothing that addresses his rehabilitation. Without knowing about that, I don't want the man on my team. He doesn't sound like one of the RKGs that Red keeps harping about. No thank you.

Sign Hardy. Sign Will Hill. Sign Paea.
Hardy 2/14
Hill 1/4
Paea 4/18 ( I may be off here)

Bring back Mcclain. Bring back Spencer. Sean Lee comes back healthy. Bring back Durant.

This allows you to truly pick best player available in the draft.

Do it Jerry! I don't care about character issues at this point.

we sign Murray but all I hear is Adrian Peterson didn't play all season and pulled a switch on his kid,

But we want this guy who's got enough ammo to go into Afghanistan himself and didnt play all season either?

Hardy is maybe a top 40 player in this league where AP is a top 10.

I'm not saying go get AP but I don't understand the inconsistencies.

No thank you

Sounds a bit dramatized, there's always two sides to the story. I would like to hear his side of the story and see the evidence. It's a very tough subject for sure and understand your concern.

I wouldn't let him date my daughter, but I might hire him to kill quarterbacks.

Greg Hardy won't be back in Carolina. (Getty Images)

According to a report from the Charlotte Observer, the Carolina Panthers will not bring defensive end Greg Hardy back to the team next season. Hardy had been seeking a long-term contract with the Panthers around this time last year, but the team elected to place the franchise tag on him instead.

Hardy then played only one game in 2014 before being placed on the Commissioner's Exempt List due to his domestic violence issues. Hardy was found guilty of assaulting and threatening to kill ex-girlfriend Nicole Holder last year. He appealed for a jury trial, which begins next week.

If Hardy is found guilty again, it would likely trigger a minimum six-game suspension under the new personal conduct policy. Whether found guilty or not, Hardy's upcoming free agency will be an interesting case. We've already seen that NFL teams will not shy away from signing players with baggage -- the Bills just signed former Dolphins offensive lineman Richie Incognito, who was at the center of a bullying scandal two years ago -- if they are able to contribute on the fi

Hardy is a really dumb person in general. The way he acted in during his first trial trying to provoke lawyers when they asked questions is a sign to stay away from this guy. I doubt the jury trial will be any different in its verdict, which im sure will have women in the jury. Not only that the NFL will make an example out of this guy with their new DM campaigne, after trying to make an example out of ray rice but failed because of stupidity within the league office lol. So they will try to get it right with this case. Hardy will be out of the NFL for a big part of 2015 and probably all of 2015. Hope this team stays away from this idiot.
