Report: Elliott reported to camp overweight

This is a non-story. Zeke admitted that when he started camp, he took one look at McFadden and was surprised at how in shape he was. He got a dose of reality on the type of shape an NFL RB has to be in. There's no issue about his current conditioning/weight, so this is much ado about nothing. Jeez, I can't wait for the season to start so we can have some real news.
If Zeke has a bad game, you can basically assume that the OP will be in here saying we should have taken Jalen. Id actually bet money on it.

He comes from too good of a family for it to be a major deal. His dad is basically his shadow. I'm not worried about it at all.

And he came in overweight because he was allowed to come in overweight and he's allowed to come in overweight because our head coach has no power. Our culture is toxic.

He looks kinda light for a NT

Some of you who work out, like myself, will know that a gallon of water weighs 8.34 pounds and when you work out.. You know to drink at least that much per day, if not more. This journalist doesn't know anything about being an athlete or fitness.

Maybe he's on that Murray plan.

It wasnt posted because its irrelevant. if they said he came in 15 20 lbs overweight like Lacy id be concerned. Nothing that i have read or heard in interviews about this kid tells me hes lazy or has poor work ethic. In fact, he spends more time in the film room than most people at his position. The fact you are known on the board to have hated this pick and wanted Ramsey is definitely mutually exclusive to the fact you are the one to post an article about your "concern" for him being 6 lbs overweight. What was his body fat percentage? Did that go up? Most likely not. The only reason this is a story is because its about the cowboys, about the leading jersey seller, and because people like you will re post it and give it more air time than it deserves.
If you'd prefer only positive news be posted about....well what planet are you from?

I also didn't post anything about "my concern."

All I said was "not great to hear." And it isn't. I didn't say Zeke was lazy. Or enjoyed being a young rich multi-millionaire a bit too much.

I didn't even seek out this news. It was a story that was posted. And I shared. That's how a forum works right? Believe it or not I read a lot of football news. And I came upon this article talking about the upcoming suite of preseason games around the NFL. It had a tidbit about a high profile Cowboys player. I'd have posted this about anyone.

I absolutely believe the Cowboys made a mistake in picking a RB over a CB who they had graded in the same tier. Does that mean i'm forever banned from posting about said RB?

Do me a favor and pound sand.

It must be difficult to be so wrong so consistently lmao.

He needs to get he needs to see for himself a DT can run him down in this league. Tonight will be good for the kid. Gonna knock some cockiness out of him.

Your picture doesn't really look like you work out much... but your girlfriend is hot.

j/k

you're absolutely correct about the water. That can be one or two practices before it is gone.
