You aren't arguing with me. You are arguing against hard, in the book stats. You ignore the weakest links and blame Dak. What a joke. lol
Not arguing at all! There are other issues besides Dak. But you give Dak 35 mil and you have the biggest problem on the team because those hard book stats show his redzone completion percentage is lower than Wentz and Daniel Jones. What A joke!

That is a petty stat. If it was meaningful Pat Mahomes and Russell Wilson wouldn't be lower than Dak. That's right! Mahomes and Wilson had a lower red zone completion percentage in 2019 than Dak Prescott. Do you still insist on cherry-picking stats to fit your biased narrative?

Sorry, mate, I was channeling leadership and not meltdowns.
But Hurts was and is the real deal.
Tua was the show up but Hurts was already pro.
Anybody who belives Tua is NFL grade material is an idiot.

I love me some Hurts, character and leadership extraordinaire. But he wasn't a very accurate passer and doesn't throw guys open.
He's going to struggle in the NFL. He's almost Dak-like with more of a propensity to run the ball.
P.S., I must be an idiot and so must Trent Dilfer, Shannon Sharpe and a host of former NFL players. Tua is the real deal. The only question on him is durability. He is the most accurate passer I've seen since Dan Marino.

Before those 4 seasons we were 4-12 but people seem to casually forget that.

....if that was all Dak's doing, then he should have been able to do it last year, yes? Apparently, to all of you, we have an elite WR, elite RB, elite QB, elite line.

So why weren't we 13-3? Why couldn't we score much against the Saints and Patriots? Why couldn't we beat the Jets? Why couldn't we do much on offense against the Bills and Bears until the fourth quarter?

How about in 2017 when Dak couldn't hit the broad side of a barn without defenses focusing in on Zeke? Or how about Dak looking like doo doo without Amari Cooper AFTER he stated he didn't need a #1 WR?

No, it’s the 15% chance that he develops Avascula Necrosis (AVN) in his hip and the joint become necrotic and he ends up with a four year career before debilitating arthritis sets in.

It’s what ended Bo Jackson’s career and forced him to have a hip replacement at 29

ankle sprains ... if only

His hip has been cleared. It's the ankles they worry the most about.

Also, only about 4% of those with hip injuries end up with arthritis within two years of the injury. A lot of this has to do with age though.

I was hoping this thread being moved to the Draft Zone would prevent it from becoming another Dak thread. Alas, disappointed yet again.

Despite being one of the best college quarterbacks in the nation at the University of Alabama, Tua Tagovailoa's injury concerns appear to have him slipping on multiple NFL teams' draft boards.

Per The Athletic's Bob McGinn, three teams have taken Tagovailoa off their board entirely due to concerns from scouts and executives about his ability to stay healthy.

Rumblings about Tagovailoa's durability keep getting louder the closer we get to the 2020 NFL draft.

One AFC personnel man told McGinn that Tagovailoa was "a great college player" but added there are "three, four or five red flags staring us all in the face" that make it hard to risk a high pick on him.

This is exactly what I have been saying....
Tua is a heck of a prospect but also one heck of a gamble.

I like Herbert and Love more personally. Far more raw but Mahomes sat a year and turned out "OK" ...

If he falls to 17 it'd be the fastest pick EVER

If I’m running the team I’m doing whatever it takes to make Tua a Cowboy.

I don’t see us fielding that great of a team next year anyways.. Next year is a small rebuild imo..

So if we can possibly trade Dak for a 1 or 2 then I would do it if we can bring in a talent like Tua.

These teams have more info on his health then I do but I know if he was 100% healthy then he is likely the #1 player taken in this draft.

So with the information I have im doing whatever it takes to go get Tua and have 10+ years with him as our QB.

He is the guy to bring a Lombardi back to Dallas..

He is a guy that can’t win games with his arm.

He is a guy that can carry teams.

This is a Steve Young/Russell Wilson/Drew Brees like talent.

If there is a chance at all that you can acquire him and you don’t because of Dak then you’re doing the team and it’s success a disservice.

You guys just need to forget about the cowboys drafting Tua. They’ve got much greater needs than QB. Come on man....

So did the Chiefs when they moved on from Alex Smith to select Patrick Mahomes.

We are in the Alex Smith era and now we need to go find our Patrick Mahomes.

Coaching is king in football. The Cowboys have as much talent as any other team in this league and should be winning 11-13 games a year but the coaching has been disappointing to say the least.

Because against good teams Dak tries to minimize mistakes and plays his 50/50 brand of football.

Without Zeke’s big play ability we don’t get much from Dak and his lack of arm talent.

Ouch! Some more of those ole stats that don’t go in Dak’s favor. They love pointing out all those fantasy yards but you won’t get much action from them on this one.

I’ll take any of the 3 over the Dakster!
