Anybody still saying Wentz is better then Dak is silly and foolish. We can revisit this subject in 2 years or whatever and see then if it changes (most likely stays the same). Up to this point though Dak is by far the better QB and is not even close

Phlly doesn't have a Dez, but the other talent at wr is Jordan Matthews, Dorial Green-Beckham. TE's
Zach Ertz, Brent Celek. RB's Ryan Mathews,, Darren Sproles. Wentz has targeted JMatthews 90 times. The 4 next on the stats list are 50+ times.

For the Boys, Dak has targeted Beasley 73 times, Witten 73 times, Dez 66 times. It drops to TWilliams at 39 times and the others much lower. We lead in time of possession, and thus have more chances of Dak going thru his targets. And yes, Zeke is a big reason for that. Philly doesn't have the run game with a Zeke to allow time of possession.

Yes Dak has more offensive firepower, but proved he can still move the ball around and find targets when Dez missed 3 games. Philly isn't soley devoid of talent. They just don't have a Dez or Zeke. Without Dez, Dak wasn't fazed because he still had Zeke. If Zeke misses a game or more, then well see if time of possession changes for the CBoys with having AMorris in the game instead of Zeke.

Oh I think Ertz, Matthews, and Matthews are solid players but that's it. They are nothing special. Jordan Matthews is a low end number 1 WR. He is better than T.will but not by much.

Dak is on another level because he is off the charts with things they don't have charts for.

All i'm saying is i'm not convinced Dak couldn't do more with the same supporting cast. Granted, there's no evidence of that.
I don't think Wentz is doing his supporting cast any favors though I know the Lane Johnson situation has really hurt Wentz more than anything.

I didn't see much drop off when Dez missed games or when Collins went down or Tyron Smith went down. He has Zeke. But I don't think Ryan Matthews and Darren Sproles or slouches.

You have no clue what you're talking about. Wentz is one of the most cerebral QBs you'll ever find. The dude came from North Dakota had basically no camp or preseason and performed week 1 as a rookie in the NFL. With a stiff supporting cast. You don't do that without being highly intelligent.

This is why fans get a bad name.

So basically we should praise Wentz for doing what he's suppose to do lol. Yay for Wentz. Give him a cookie. Dak is killing it on all levels. There's nothing Wentz does as good as Dak as of right now. Wentz spends all day throwing screen passes and he can't even do that as good as Dak.

Dak > Wentz as of today likely near future at least.

Can we wrap this up until prior to next year's first Eagle game?

Is the Min game that boring?

They are growing further apart.

That is all.

:starspin:
If Dak had been drafted by the Browns where do you think he would be today? If Wentz had landed in Dallas where do you think he would be today? Let's face it Dak landed in the best possible place he could have wished for. I believe that Dallas would have made Wentz the coming of the next Big Ben or Joe Montana. Some times where really good QBs land defines their careers. I would wait a while before grading these two out. I do believe Wentz would have benefited from a year as a red shirt and another off season with a better OL built around him.

Saying that they are growing further apart today is in no way, shape, or form grading out how their careers will unfold in the NFL. It's a simple and true observation. Our 4th round pick is running circles around the dude everyone was fawning all over during the draft.

Based on just about everything.

Wentz is bigger, faster, better arm, and better mechanics.

There's a reason most had Wentz graded as a first round pick and dak as a mid-round pick.

You ask those same people if they would pick Dak over Wentz - most likely they will say "YES".

Better mechanics? I beg to differ. Wentz has a slower release and comes out high often.
Dak is a better decision maker. Wentz is too risk-adverse at times, and then tries to make up for it and ends up making a mistake. I'm sure having studs around Dak helps, but his decision making is unreal.
