Rich Eisen, Give Dak fewer throws that he has to make and fewer moments where Dak has to be the guy

Were you watching the Packer game? You see a team close to any of those championship teams? They made plays and had other players also make plays. That's how championship teams work. But somehow asking a RB to make a play is frowned upon around here.

Very odd that people think the QB should be enough based on salary while other areas just aren't very good. No doubt Prescott has to be better but so does everything else including the run game which really has been terrible. You want to win playoff games, the rushing attack is equally important.

Who said they were as good as the 70s and 90s Super Bowl teams? You're moving the goalposts. Dak gets 50 million to "make a play". At times in his career he's had peak RB, great Oline, solid #1 WRs, and top ball hawking defenses. He's done NOTHING with it other than beating mostly bad teams and choking in playoffs.

If you want the team with HOFers at every other position than we sure don't need to pay him and make him the centerpiece.

In other words...A dominate defense..... Mahomes didn't score the whole 2nd half and only 17 the first half. Yet...still won....yet he's considered the goat or one of them. Dak scored just 17 in a playoff game...he'd be killed for it. Mahomes gets away with it because he has a defense.

Yeah but it runs much deeper than just the QBs salary. There's been plenty of foolish decisions by the front office over the years. They basically ignored DT for the longest time. overpaid RB. Some draft picks are head scratchers, they'll draft backup positions and special teamers early. The 2nd round strategy is a complete mystery.

Yes Daks salary is a hinderance but so is Jerry and his offspring. The team could be in better shape than it is. FA... They've done 'OK' in the McCarthy era but it was pretty much a joke before that. Plus the "we like our guys" routine? That list of poor decisions goes on and on even when Dak was on his rookie deal.

I'm just saying the best quarterback in the league and maybe EVER. Went a whole half without putting a point on the board. People in here are mad at Dak when the defense gave up 38. Jerry and some fans want Dak to be Superman. Your defense gets dragged up and down the field non stop. GB only punted like once. "maybe -once" what did people expect Dak to do???? Our offense had the ball two more minutes then GB did. Yet they had 38. At least Dak brought us back. Calore yards or not. At 5 minutes of the game. You still had a chance. Could of been driving for the winning TD "IF" your defense had just made 2 stops. Yet. It was ,Dak. Dak played bad but as GB defense proved against Purdy-38 point's. Game OVER!!!! No matter what Dak does.

To top it off the Chiefs D held the Ravens to 10 points in a playoff game on the road. That is impressive regardless of what's happening at QB.

My point exactly...Dak was ready to sign the deal. Ole Jethro said' I'm gonna make you prove it" Hoping Dak sucked so he could pay him even less. Dak played great and here we are,.. So, That's why I'm not mad at Dak at all really. Anybody in here in the same position as Dak goes out and proves himself and gets paid. Jerry was the one who caused Dak to become a 60 million dollar quarterback. Not Dak!! Only thing I can ask of Dak now is to get it going in the playoffs. Regular season he's been a killer in 13 or 14 of the games.
