LOL. We all know that Crapsburgh fans cannot just love one turd. They need to love the entire bowl of turds. That bowl includes the football and baseball teams. Which means, you be in the wrong place brah. I'm sure that your football team has its own message board. This would be the '5 time champs' board.

incorrect. while yes, I follow the Pittsburgh hockey and baseball teams, I despise the football team. Cowboys are my team. good try though. you should probably watch some of those initial replies to me, it is a family site here I'm told. While I'm not offended, some might be.

Anybody that thinks hes still suffering from symptoms then stamp naive right on your forehead. He is on IR strictly because Dallas couldnt risk putting him on the PS because he wouldve been scooped up quick. He wouldve been seeing DRs on the regular and there wouldve been news on this matter. I have no doubt that he did suffer a concussion and thats why he's on IR, but if he wouldnt have he wouldnt been on the 53.
Michael Oher suffered a concussion in November 2016 and still was suffering the effects to the point he failed his team physical in July 2017 (8 months later) and was released. He stated on his twitter after he was released that the brain is a scary thing and you have to be careful with it.

So no, it is not naïve to assume that Rico could be suffering the same fate as Michael Oher.

i remember that but it was documented and he was seeing DRs. And it was a post he made on twitter that had like a dozen pills he was taking. If you follow Rico the guy is showing no signs of effects right now. He tweets about feeling good, and the work he's putting in. On 8/28 he even posting a tweet #the return of zues coming soon.

Like i said while he def suffered a concussion, i think he's on IR because Dallas couldnt afford to lose him risking putting him on the PS

looks like his time in the nfl may be over before it ever gets started
Yep probably done, no football hits in basketball. If it's taking this long for him to recover then it's probably safe to say that he has what you would call in boxing a glass jaw.

Keep stashing him/ trying to hide him for the next 5 years and then he'll be ready once Witten retires

with all the heat the NFL is taking on concussions, the Boys would be incredibly DUMB to be using that as an IR trick. No, I think this guy has real problems.

well...i hope they are not maniupulating the league because we need this guys playmaking on the field. He is the only TE on the roster who can get downfield.
over who?
Witten? lol
Hanna is our best TE this year and Swaim is a good blocker as well
so they go to Rico and say wink wink we wont dress 4 TE on game but this is a great time for you to get completely healthy
when you not having those headaches anymore wink we can see about clear a roster spot for you
you know we see you as the future here love your potential
you way to important to rush back
but Rico, please understand if one of the other TE should get hurt, try to stay ready in your playbook and film so you could maybe be ready ok? kiss

Anyone not named Witten. We run so much 2 and 3 TE sets that he would help out immediately.

hes going to be very good but hes still raw as a nfl tightend. he has to do more than catch or block he has to run routes correct and on time, he has to understand coverage so Dak isnt throwing interceptions
hes never played since middle school. if hes not ready and you put him on your roster ok, then Lee or somebody gets hurt you have to cut a guy like Alfred or somebody you might really want to keep to replace them for short time! this is serious busness there are millions of dollars involved and peoples jobs. stashing him is smart if thats what it is.
if Bellicheck did it and maybe he does people would think hes a genius

Sidney Crosby had concussion symptoms for 11 months. he missed nearly a 1.5 years of playing, I believe he had a fracture in his neck or jaw that was mis-diagnosed. Not saying that's the case here with Gathers, but it does happen

I recall Broaddus mentioning something about Rico's neck and jaw.

If he still has a symptoms then it's not a concussion. He hurt something and the doctors have no clue what they're looking at.

Never saw concussion that last almost 2 months. If that's the case give it up bruh you probably one more hit away from something serious.

I've slowed this video down, paused it repeatedly as it was coming up to the hit, and watched it multiple times, and I still can't see where his head was hit. It's odd because the safety looks lower and Rico looks like he fell on top of him.

Still in development, with sensor-guided force distribution technology and exterior crush zones.
Several companies are involved.

external crush zones make a lot sense as that would spread the duration of the shock over a longer time period. but you need a flexible external shell that can crush into software cushion area. like a spring, the more the shell presses in, the more resistance from the cushion (liquid/gel?)

so accelerometers all over the helmet ...
i guess the key is to spread the shock over a longer time period.
i can see mini-airbags popping up based on sensor measurements.
perhaps the mini-airbags would pop up in different time sequence to spread the impact over a slightly longer time period...

If true, then retire. This game is not worth the money when you're overall meaning of life is on the line.
