Can someone tell me why he’s such a bad head coach without reference to just his record?

He’s been saddled with Zack Wilson at QB, who is awful. Then when the organization went all out to bring in Aaron Rogers, he’s lost in the first quarter of the first game of the year, so they have to go back to awful. In the meantime, his defenses have been solid, ranked in the top five or ten despite the GMing in NY. And then this year, Rogers got off to a slow start due to returning from injury and then the controversial dismissal.

Kenny Pickett had a qbr of 38 last year. Wilson 31. Steelers have a good coach, Jets had an average one. It's pretty easy to see. Using qb excuses only take you so far

Better be careful. We have many who ,for some reason, can't get enough of Zim. I agree.

I know Deon purportedly loves Zim, but I'm totally over these coaches and owners having love affairs with players and coaches because of past relationships... Deon would be fun to take a chance on and if you look closely there are some similarities between him and Jimmy Johnson in terms of having a pulse of the future draft, and there is also no doubt that he is a motivator.. I have a man crush on Pete Caroll but one thing is for sure, He is a fantastic coach and if there aren't many options out there he would at least be a step up from Fat Mike in my opinion...
