It’s far from guaranteed for most teams and even Philly has been stopped on it. Disagree with the slippery slope of attempting to ban plays but I also am here for anything that leads to the Eagles downfall lol

Man that play has what like a 98.9% success rate for them lol

The problem with the tush push is no team has had near the success with it that Philly has had. It’s made 4th and 1 pretty much automatic for them. They’ve been able to push out 2 or 3 yards with it. It gives them somewhat of an unfair advantage because they’re so good at it. Eventually, I believe they will disallow players pushing the QB from behind. It’s all going to have to happen upfront with blocking.

Works to their advantage since the defense can't assist each other from behind in an attempt to stop it. If they ban it then we'll see how good Jalen Hurts really is, since his total TDs are inflated by the tush push.

I tried copy/pasting the web address, but it isn't working. Why does Goodell want to get rid of it? Is it because of player safety, unfair advantage, bad optics, inability to see where the ball is when the knee touches, or where the knee touches, or something else?

If you ban this then why not ban any ball player getting pushed? Like when teams push their running back or receivers to the endzone or first down

It should be banned since it's not a football play, it's a rugby play...I'm sure the competition committee will look at it after the season..
They looked after last off-season and decided the best approach was to monitor it.

Travis Kelce has said it's a dangerous play, when Micah was asked if they did anything to practice to stop it he said no, it's too dangerous.

I don't see how this play passes the "player safety" mustard...it's an accident waiting to happen.

Only way they can "ban" it is to eliminate players pushing the QB from behind I think.
