That's where I stand. I think there's danger when you have all those bodies mashing together in a scrum, but until someone gets hurt, I have no proof that it's any more dangerous than a regular QB sneak.I’m not sure how I feel about this. I feel teams should be able to stop it. But if someone gets hurt doing it then it should be banned.
That used to be illegal. If you ban this then why not ban any ball player getting pushed? Like when teams push their running back or receivers to the endzone or first down
Some have tried, but either they don't have the QB to run it or they are running it wrong. The Eagles' backfield blockers get in there tight behind Hurts and shove hard trying to drive him forward. Most of the others I've seen do not have those backfield blockers do that. They may push a little or put their hands on the QB for support, but they do not try to drive him through the defense. Then why haven't other teams adopted it?
Honest question, and this is for everyone in favor of banning it, if we were the ones who came up with this play and were having the kind of success the Eagles are, would you be in favor of banning it?it is not a natural football play,
If it occurs during the process of a natural play, then fine. But to line up like that is not natural.
The play is pretty lame tbh.Stupid
I don’t love the play, but I’m sick of this league and it’s tyrant banning something every time a player gets hurt or a teams gets an advantage. How about someone stop it instead of changing the rules?
I’ll never have any respect for that man. He’s a snake.
Kind of hard for every team to get a qb named hurts that can squat 500+ pounds, and the same o-line/coaches that he has, only a man that's smart as you could figure something out like thisThen why haven't other teams adopted it?
sure would, fair is fair!Honest question, and this is for everyone in favor of banning it, if we were the ones who came up with this play and were having the kind of success the Eagles are, would you be in favor of banning it?
people had the chance to get big dominant lineman, they chose to get a favre or a bruce smith!Unless they are doing something illegal ....... then it sounds like sour grapes to me. Its no more unstoppable than when Emmitt Smith had 1 or 2 yards to get back in the day.
There used to be a rule where you can't push the ball carrier forward. They’re going to ban QB sneaks? Like how does this work?
The push from behind. Like, it's obvious they are running the play, but it's difficult to stop if you set it up right, and have a QB who can squad a gazillion pounds. They’re going to ban QB sneaks? Like how does this work?
Ya sure about that?sure would, fair is fair!
